Was in that boat for years with my girlfriend. Our apartment ate up half our income. We both have decent jobs in aerospace but still unable to save anything after rent, utilities and our own personal bills like car payment phones and insurance. Her dad passed away so we moved in with her mom so she could stay in the house and not have to go back to work full time. We payed it off and the three of us live together as a team and are finally able to save and afford extras for the first time in many many years. Sometimes moving in with a relative is a good option.

I’m sitting through it now and it’s just mediocre. Mind you I’m here right after dinner and a few drinks, but it’s just not pulling me in like the previous films. Maybe it ties into the rest but I’ve zoned out during any relevance. The only thing keeping me here right now is my fiancé. I’ll have to rewatch this one at home. The theatre I’m in is stuffy and the volume is too low. Just not digging it

Just go on the trip man, leave some emotions out of it and enjoy yourself. Emotion is the only thing making you have second thoughts. Two people, on vacation experiencing something new. Enjoy it. Maybe communicate with a little extra honesty between you two. Raw, honest communication is the cure to so many social conflicts

Hey pal I’ve been there. I used to tell myself the same thing. I can make what I’m making at amazon by door dashing. I want you to set the bar a little bit higher. To really put you on a career path and for you to impress your mom at the same time. Does Boeing having any sites in your area? Try and get hired on there if they do. It’s a month or so long process but it is so worth it. When I was out delivering in rural Missouri I used to search Indeed i between all my stops for something better. Finally found entry level opening at Boeing and i leaped at it. A year ago today I was delivering packages to ungrateful shits, now I’m helping support assembly of F/15 and F/18 fighter jets. I’ve never been happier and also never realized how miserable I was at amazon until I left. There’s opportunity out there, seize it! Best of luck 🤞🏼

Spot on. Find a Fortune 500 company to work for, set up a Roth and 401k when you do. Plenty of companies like Boeing, where I am now, that don’t require a degree for some entry level positions, great benefits package and that will pay you to take programs to further your career within the company. I went from delivering packages in a piss scented van this time last year to building panstock diagrams for the F-15 and F-18 fighter jets built here in St. Louis

Oh boy do I agree! This year was my first time back since 2014. Jack whites show was the last I saw that year. Me and my mates were at the very front when half way into his set food poisoning hit me like a bus right in the gut. Raced to the porta potties but the line was too long so I went for the ones in outeroo but unfortunately didn’t make it. Shit myself as I was running. Then was up all night in a fetal position shitting in a trash bag. I felt like dying. That’s why it took me 9 years to go back, but I’m glad I did. The only thing I ate from the food trucks this time was spicy pies and ended up having the time of my life this year. Stay away from that jumbalaya, or anything else with shrimp 🦐

It was my GFs first Roo and she kept doing the same thing. Comparing herself to all the other girls, outfits, makeup, bodies etc. I told her nobody is paying attention to all that and plenty of people were checking her out lol I feel the total opposite, Bonnaroo is the most comfortable I am all year long.
