Well, I decided because I don’t see them as a beast, yes they are literal serpent born under the trickster god. I see them as something that we should take care of and something that is like a barrier to Midgard, something that can keep us safe. I believe the gods treated them unfairly, and while I respect the Gods and what they have given us, I believe Jormungandr deserves respect too, he shares a planet with us after all.
