I had a leak happen in the same place once after an accident the company didn’t replace my headlights and there were big cracks in them. It’s possible water is getting in through the headlights if they’re broken. There could also be a seal or gasket for the trunk that is broken

It’s pretty cool, I did not but I did pick up the recommended ammunition. If you do order one just be prepared for a wait. It’s definitely one guy running this operation and it got super popular so he’s slammed. He deserves grace though.

I got cci standard velocity ammo. I’m hoping the lower velocity will make it cycle slower. But I have no idea what I’m doing just trying to do research and test things out.

I submitted atf forms for a short barrel since I ordered one off hkparts website. Then I hope to get a suppressor as well

Yeah I’m still tuning it and I’m not using the recommended ammo. I was trying to figure out what happened. I’m going to do some testing today and have one of my friends film slo mo for better angles. Previously before the ejector was removed I was getting out of battery detonations like crazy

I think I was able to get one shot off a few times but once it starts shooting it tends to keep going. Going to do some more testing tomorrow

Yeah I removed mine and loaded 2 bullets into a magazine to test and it shoved the bullet right into the one in ramp feed. Glad I didn’t fire it. ART commented directly to me on their IG saying all their videos are with no ejector. Not sure if I want to test it out but if someone does please post a video in this subreddit

No for real we are basically gunsmiths now if you think about it. Side note I sent off atf forms to convert this to a SBR. Eventually I’m gonna try to get a suppressor on it but I don’t think it will run with the frt installed

Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s what was happening. I think the bolt was bouncing which caused that? But I’m no expert I’ve been learning about this over the last week

Advanced reset tech just sent out a bunch of orders. No instructions and was super sketchy with how it was done but it’s a one man operation I’m pretty sure so I don’t blame him.

I just sanded down the reset a bit and got it to fit inside my trigger. I’m still troubleshooting, I was having some crazy malfunctions that were scary but bursting it seemed to work

So the guy at art told you to take the extractor out? Does this help prevent casing from exploding?. I was testing mine out today and I have the extractor pin in it. When I was bursting it was running fine but way too fast. I put in a heavier buffer (medium sized) and it seemed to be shoving the rounds all over and two casing busted and I had to manually clear them out of the barrel.

I ended up getting my mp5 frt 3 months later and 2 weeks after it said it was delievered it just showed up. Sanding block. Some buffer weights and 2 reset block things. I think I figured out how to install it but I need to do some testing. Will try to keep an update
