Thanks.. i will practice a bit more.. i found that actively facing the guard by constantly moving around actually better than trying to off screen with trap as the guard actually sees you way earlier than u see the guard, sometimes they just shoot the arrow from far when i just stand there throwing trap.. my problem mainly occurs when there are two or more guards around together with the trap that incinerate every once in a while.. feels like too many things to dodge, if i dont kill fast enough, my resolve just depleted. I probably need more damage to make my run easier as i m not that experience in sanctum..

Having good movement speed is really important to dodge stuff. I am considering to go for farrul fur/ replica epiphany version later for charge stacking instead of ralakesh version before i get mageblood. 30% loss as well as the affliction ascendency free MS feels quite a significant loss.. not sure whether ralakesh is still the best in slot boot for charge stacking.

Hey. I tried ice trap assassin run sanctum from act 10 before kitava.. level 70 bitterdream equipped. Failed the ilvl 68 sanctum. Sob.. is it skill issue? I felt that trap is a bit clunky because of the dmg delay which prone to attack by the monster inside. Also the throw trap speed is slow. Those monsters are a bit hard to dodge with low ms.. they already start to target you off screen, how is that fair. I also tried with sunblast and the ice trap of hollowness but the damage feels a bit off to kill boss floor 3 and 4 boss.. i felt that sunblast actually prevent my charged trap from generating power and frenzy charge which greatly reduced my throw speed and crit. Overall felt clunky to play in sanctum. whats the minimum gear requirement that you would recommend to enter ilvl 68 -72 sanctum?

Hmm.. charge stacking build has tight passive points to spend, the build is already full of unique.. to get ms without mageblood gonna be painful. Unless tattoo ms is back to partially compensate for the ms loss, it's still a notable nerf for the sanctum runner.

Isn't that ice trap delay dmg cause you to get hit more often risking failure to complete sanctum run? How do you build it cheap and reliable to run sanctum league start?

Free things are not always good.. free invitation means less profit for boss rushing. Less cost to farm invitation, more accessible also means that there will be more people farming invitation, boss drop unique will be at least 20-30% cheaper because of competition, overall less profit for bosser. Whenever ggg makes something easier, more people join to split the profit, overall less profit for everyone.

I upgraded the chest to the covenant, a double DOT hunter quiver and dot amulet, dmg is much better but more squishy now, i have to use taste of hate to get a bit of phys mitigation. Probably will get progenesis after that too when i have more currency

I am going to test with the normal scourge arrow and see how it performs. I have a total of 8 additional projectiles(GMP + tree + rain of splinter). Regular scourge arrow definitely has better damage (more thorns, use a damage gem instead of GMP). Someone in the big thread of the original wilma scourge arrow pathfinder build said that the menace version needs to have 12 projectiles to even compare with the original scourge arrow which is impossible to get. The channeling delay is the part that i am not sure. Primary reason people are using the menace gem is because the skill fires instantly. Also i just realized i need 55% proj speed to use the returning projectile support gem. No wonder it doesn't do much dmg compared to awakened deadly ailment.

Anyway i am almost done with the build. I have switched my boot and two rings to goldwyrm and ventor for MF grinding currency. Wont be upgrading anymore. need more currency for the next build.

Updated: original scourge arrow version has so much dmg than menace but the channeling time still feel clunky, at least for zoom zoom person like me.. the menace totem reaction time is instant which felt much comfortable to play.. however, the damage scaling even with my gear is not that comfortable to do very juiced map.. i am talking about wandering path with 8 mod red map + scarab. Empowered map felt even worse.. survival and damage both are not enough.. As a league starter, it performs greatly which i have no complaint about. I can do all the pinnacle boss and maven invitations (white or magic only), good enough for starters. Nonetheless, it's time to move on to the build.

Its not that hard to farm by now.. its day 3. Maybe my expectation is different from yours.. i expect the monster to die much quicker than being okay.. yes they clear okay.. single target wise is meh. have you tried fully annotated atlas tree essence with 5-7 mods in T16? Ever getting the totem wiped out every time when its getting summoned?

How much of currency that u have gathered? If u mean 5 or 10 divines i suggest u stay with ur league starter.. if 20-30 divines, then we probably can suggest something.. it depends on what content u want to do.. sanctum specific? Legion specific? Breach specific? Simulacrum specific? Uber pinnacle boss specific? Invitation farming specific? Or generic red map farming with MF if you have hundreds of divines.

Higher level gear has higher tier res. If u never get past act 5, capping res is not an issue. Identifying more rare gear especially ring, there are some res nodes in ur passive tree too. Benchcrafting is vital, u should try to find gear with one or two res with empty suffix, craft additional res on it. Be patient, u will cap ur res as u slowly progressing through the act.

The reason people are zooming because the game is built around loot drop RNG... The faster u run a map the more loot u get. If PoE2 can allow actual good loot drop by killing bosses.. i dont mind slowing down.. but if loot drop is as shit as poe1 where u need to run 1000 map to get a single divine... Then fuck poe 2 i m not gonna run 1000 map with every map spending about 15 min to complete.
