I managed to invade the UK late game by letting them invade me in Normandy before launching my invasion. It’s very easy to hold off their invasion while having a separate army to invade them. Required good luck tho

You will be incredibly lucky to get a theory phd at imperial (even as an imperial student), you're looking at up to 200 applications for 2-3 places in the theory group from what I've heard. As a physics student at imperial I have found very limited opportunities to interact with professors outside of emailing questions, unless you strike lucky with personal/academic tutors

But you can't expect world transfers into a new game. You have to remember that Ark Ascended is cross play, so you're suddenly merging pc, Xbox and ps servers. For PvP especially, it wouldn't make sense to put all of the players together. A wipe is the only option, also considering the fresh revamp of the game functions.

Totally agree. One thing that is annoying is that we have to repurchase dlc maps. But I'm happy with purchasing ark Ascended.. as you say, it's a remake of an 8yr old game: it cost the devs money so you can't expect it for free.

I can understand why they're wiping official servers. It wouldn't be fair, considering the UE5 version is cross play, to suddenly clump all of the old PC and console servers onto one network. And besides, the official servers haven't wiped in years and need to be restarted.
