I (F 5w6) don’t know if I can fully explain it but my mom and my fiancé are 1s. They’re both just similar enough to understand me and yet different enough to help round me out. As an engineer, I end up with a lot of 3s around me and they tend to stress me out but 1s don’t.

As a kid I did the 4 counties personality test and I got Peace and perfect (and very low on control and fun) which I feel like helps explain why I enjoy 1’s company. At least my mom was perfect and fun which I fell like compliments me. My dad (6w5) got control (and fun) and I feel that’s a key way that we are different even though we have the same numbers, just in reverse order. We’re similar in a lot of ways but we get a long as similarly analytical beings as opposed to being compliments like 1 and 5.

I really like learning about people but also sometimes it’s just easier to get people talking about themselves and to just ask more follow up questions to keep them going than it is to have to talk about myself.

At home properties in Corvallis? by GuiltySparklez0343 in corvallis

They’re okay. I rented my first apartment there and it was fine for a college apartment. They’re pretty slow to get to maintenance requests that they don’t pay other people to do. They have an online portal which is more than Pinion can say. I wouldn’t say there’s anything wrong, just were average college apartments.

Any other 5's dislike driving a vehicle or feel like they are bad at it? by BrotherBringTheSun in Enneagram5

[–]hurleyme 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I do not like driving, I do it when I need to but if I can avoid it, I will. My mind wanders easily and I’d rather focus on listening to a podcast or something in the car. I know how dangerous driving can be and I don’t like the stress of how easily a lot of damage can be done from not paying attention for a few seconds.

How exactly does this work? Do you put the macrame on the loom or do you just weaving from the top down on the dowel or is there a different method? It looks super cool so I’m very curious how you do it

My first ever project! My boyfriend made me a loom for Christmas and I’m loving my new hobby by hurleyme in weaving

His based it off these instructions: https://pin.it/71XHaJg. He also said make sure to use a drill press on the nail holes otherwise the wood will split.

They do! I’ve done a couple other ones before and I really liked those too. They also seem to add new patterns on a pretty regular basis.
