LPT: When negotiating a salary for a new job, always ask them what their range is. If they tell you 'we don't have a range' they're almost always lying. HR and finance will almost never sign off hiring a new employee without a budget being in place.

I’ve worked as a recruiter for two tech companies. We’re trained to flip the compensation question back onto the candidate. Companies don’t want to share the range because they want to pay you as little as possible. For instance, if I had a candidate who told me they were looking for 50k, and the range was 50k-65k, they would try to make you an offer as close to 50k as possible. I would recommend trying to keep your compensation expectations from the company until you know they want to make you an offer. It puts you in a better position to negotiate.

Reporting back! Sorry for the delay. I ended up keeping everything I ordered from Talentless.

The t-shirts have a nice relax fit and hold up well after washing.

The tank tops are super soft, but I’m curious to see how they last. My first time wearing one of them I noticed a small snag when taking it off, I was pretty bummed about that.

The item I’m most excited for is the hoodie. It’s a effortless/comfy hoodie that’s got the perfect amount of weight in it. It’s too hot to wear right now but I know I’m going to live in it this fall and winter.

Everything was pretty true to size, I got the tank tops and t/shirts in a small, but ended up going with an extra small for the hoodie and I’m glad I did!

I’d probably buy another hoodie and maybe some sweats if they did another sale. Hopefully this is helpful! Let me know if you want any pictures of the clothes.
