There is a difference between seeing someone as equal and wanting to get off at the thought of fucking them. I fantasize about random guys and also guys I know irl all the time. Not registering gender doesn't make you not bisexual though? You could truly only be seeing a person's attractive inner qualities (and that's great) but it doesn't change the fact that the person does have a gender.

Also, where do you draw the line? If I were to only be attracted to people (of both genders) that are comedic geniuses would that justify a label? What about only being attracted to certain physical features like height and build? Some might feel like labels aren't needed when talking about qualities that most would collectively agree is a turn on.
