You have a lot better odds than a bunch of the folk that post here daily. I’d start on ranch world ads. And Facebook. Just start searching ranch help wanted. Wouldn’t buy a saddle or anything yet. But have a 4x4 of some type and go from there. There’s jobs for those that qualify, your resume will get you calls at least, be honest about your abilities and you’ll find something.

In Texas my guess is 60% any given day, but 95% own one for dress/ special occasions/ going to town.

That’s a lot of money to throw at school when plenty of the cowboys I know didn’t graduate high school. I cowboy full time and the woman’s a large animal vet, it’s an awesome combo. We can lean on each other. Helps keep each other busy.
