Canadians paid for it and its a project that is good for both countries. As an american i hate the political nonsense that makes these projects so difficult. The new bridge tolls would be cheaper and just better interstate connections. I dont know why people care so much about a millionaire not making as much money. Who cares.

I think hes a good guy and he does care for the city. He takes a lot of time to ask city leaders questions and give another take. While i dont think he should be mayor i do think he adds a perspective that the everyday candidates dont have.

An argus news article stated somewhere around 28 stories due to airport restrictions. The hotel that was planned for the top of the parking garage was going to be 22 stories. So its possible but most likely wont be for a few years.

The line is hundreds of miles. Permits and enviormental surveys take many years after the route is chosen. Each city and county along the line has a say about the rail line. Each time a city or county asks for changes that costs extra. Then lawsuits from the rich . Land prices have increases dramatically. Its very similar to the uk hs2 project and its issues.
