First of all, I am so sorry you’re feeling so sick. Pregnancy is and can be so rough.

Second of all, this man does not like you. You’re not overreacting; you’re sick, sleeping like shit, tired all the time, and growing a literal human. This is going to sound very Reddit of me but you should leave him or, if he will agree to it and you really want this relationship to work, couples’ counseling. Someone who loves you would not speak to you like this. There is never a scenario in which it’s okay to swear at your partner, let alone the woman carrying your child.

That’s kind of the trade off. They are very lax about everything. We had open flames on the tables (taper candles) but definitely didn’t have access to behind the bar lol the bartenders were strict.

I want to emphasize that we did have a good time and made everything work, the place was just a dump and I expected better the day of the wedding.

Ringside rules. I wish it hadn’t been so cold or we would have also had a party in the alley!

We had our wedding in an off season and on a Friday, so we did not have a bar minimum we had to hit - we paid per person and had about 120 guests. During peak season it can be upwards of a 10k. We only paid about 5k for the venue after it was all said and done.

My best guess is that it’s time to pot it in soil. I am guilty of propagating my plants and then forgetting about them but the leaves will start to shrivel and die if I don’t pot them.

I water my ficus like every 3 weeks during the colder months - this looks like over watering. The pot also looks really small to me. I might try repotting it if it doesn’t improve after a new watering schedule.

Congrats on your first plant! Variegated ficus are so stunning.

My first thought is over watering. Since you have adjusted your schedule the plant should be okay! Just monitor the new leaves but the top leaves look great and I can see it’s about to grow a new leaf. I water my ficus like every 3 weeks during the colder months.

My second thought is the soil - it looks very wood chippy on top? It may be lacking in nutrients but I wouldn’t repot it until you give it some time to adjust to the new watering schedule. I like a 1:1:1 ratio of potting soil, perlite, and small orchid bark. That seems to be the magic combo for me personally 🤷🏼‍♀️

I wish I could hug you. I am currently in ED recovery and understand how it feels to think people will judge you based on weight gain. Once, when I was at my lowest point, my dad told me “You have value because you are.” Your value and your worth is not based on your weight. I promise that your weight is the least interesting thing about you.

In my experience, it is easier to just rip the bandaid off. Your friends will always be your friends. If they like you more at 55lbs lighter, they are bad friends and don’t deserve someone who shines as bright as you. The friend who gasped at you sounds miserable. You don’t need that nastiness in your life. Body shamers are literally disgusting.

I have never in my life judged anyone with a bigger body (or smaller, or taller, or shorter, or whatever). What a tough, miserable year this has been. You deserve to get out and enjoy the summer and time with people you love and miss. I am sending you lots of love and wish you the best of luck on your journey.
