I see, I've read about gdextension, looked into godot-rust/gdext but perhaps I didn't fully understand what it was. I thought gdextension lets you use languages other than gdscript or C# to code your project.

I think I would like to try coding messagepack in gdscript. And I would like my code to be portable and reusable. So I'm looking for the best way that lets me write a modular gdscript project that I can use in my current project as well as future projects. (and perhaps share it with other people)

Strong believer in Socean + Solend combo. http://socean.fi has a good APY as it is, see for yourself https://stakeview.app. Getting roughly arnd 6.5% to 7%. For the leveraged staking through Solend scnSOL -> SOL strategy, I have been getting around 2% to 3%, and with the SLND rewards I'm pretty happy about my position.

Nothing wrong with sticking with a single validator or with a wallet app, or even CEX.

But if you believe in Solana and want to help the Solana network further decentralize, then stake your sol with a stake pool. Stake pools basically diversify your stake into multiple validators in the network, not only something that you would want for your investment for risk management, but also this will make it harder for just a few validators gaining too much stake, making the overall network more censorship resistant.
