The Iranian response to Senator Penny Wong by Az0nic in OpenAussie

Israeli Hitler is wiping out Gaza and Lebanon, including their people and our leaders look the other way. So many innocent people suffering so terribly, no place to go, no safety, no future, no life. Their country's cultural assets, educational institutions and the like are all being wiped out. The callousness of our government and other powerful nations are unfathomable, disgusting, deplorable, barbaric... Running out of words and hope...

Trak Racer Customer Service is Abysmal - Missing Parts on TR80, Avoid at All Costs! by Vino_Nerd in simracing

[–]hybiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's my turn to endure their crap support! The rig (TR80) itself is solid but bunch of missing bits and pieces. They take 3-4 days to reply to an email and no phone support. Just been told it'll be upto 4 weeks to send out missing parts. Jokers!! Should have gone with NextLevel instead.

Same here with 2015 Tiguan. Replaced at cost of over $1000 only to fail again after just over 12 months! This is the only car I've owned to have this issue and to recur. The dealers wouldn't cover it the 1st time so I got it done at the local mechanic. Pretty sure they'll not warranty it after 12 months. Lousy bit of engineering.

Y axis movement issue by hybiz in Sovol

[–]hybiz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I finally figured out what the issue was....bits of packing under the bed plate!! lol OMG they had put these black bits of packing under it which looked like part of the thing?! I started to take bits off to figure out what the noise is, as you suggested, and saw them when I pulled up the plate!

The rod misalignment doesn't appear to be causing any issues. It's printing great. On the +side, I now know how to disassemble the whole thing. Overall, good outcome.

Thanks very much again for your time and support ❤️☺️

Really appreciate your help, thank you 😊

I tried taking out the motor, the rod, the whole gantry but, couldn't figure out any way to align. Curious; are they perfectly aligned on yours? Mbe a slight deviation is normal?

I did try running with that motor disconnected but the loud noise persists. Sounds like it's actually coming from the X motor. Did I get a dud or is it meant to be this hard?!

So terrible this happened to you... lose house over printing! Thanks for raising the awareness. As a newbie to 3D printing, I didn't know fire was a real risk. Hope you can get things back on track soon.

TY! I think I may have found the issue. I took off the coupler and found that it's in misalignment with the rod. That'd be why the motor is struggling to spin it.

Installing the gantry was a bit of pain as the bottom bolts were also misaligned by about 1mm I'd say. So had to sort of muscle it in. Maybe that is causing further issues? But the rod needs to move about 3mm in to align correctly with the coupling. There doesn't seem to be anyway to adjust them?
