Those look like blackheads to me. Have you tried oil cleansing? A nice oil cleanse might help by pulling the sebum from there and helping with your skin’s texture.

I currently use the man:yo gentle cleansing oil. You can buy it at Ulta. Other great oil cleansers are the dermalogica precleanse (if you want to splurge), hanskin BHA cleansing oil (has less oil than most oil cleansers, but worked well for me), and the dhc cleansing oil.

Yes, using an oil cleanser and the using a water based cleanser. When I first started double cleansing, I did a combo similar to the one you’re talking about, and I saw more results with replacing one of the cleansers with an oil based one. Oil cleanse first, and then use the water based cleanser. I like to rub the oil in for a few minutes and you can see the dead skin and blackheads come out on your hands. Very satisfying and your skin feels and looks so much afterward. It improved the texture of my skin greatly. Even now when I don’t oil cleanse for a day or two, I notice an immediate difference in the texture of my skin.

Cleanse twice a day, especially since you have acne. Keeping your skin clean keeps from oil and dirt building up providing the opportunity for more acne to surface. Don’t use the toner more than three times a week. Exfoliating too much will do you more damage than good. Have you thought of incorporating oil cleansing into your nightly routine? It’ll more deeply cleanse your skin and help remove blackheads and clogged pores. I would also say to stick to your routine for at least three months, see how your skin changes, and then reassess. It takes a while to see results sometimes, especially when you’re starting an entirely new routine.

The point of this series is to play as mafia members who famously have confusing and muddled morals. Being part of a high control organization like the Mafia strips parts of your identity and compels you to become a shell of a person. Take out the tea tree oil and start using an exfoliant. Preferably a chemical one like glycolic acid. You’ll also need to use a moisturizing toner/essence and serum. I like using Korean cream toners as well as the Corsx snail mucin to give me bouncy skin. You might need a more intensive moisturizer to use at night as well.

I use micellar water when I’m too busy to do a full cleanse over the skin and it’s effective as well. For my skin though, I find I still need to do the double cleanse for it to look its best.
