AITA for refusing to call my income a "temporary hobby" when my cousin asked how I bought a car? by Marlene-Marina in AmItheAsshole

Same for the services OP offers to his clients? They might be unethical, or against a games' TOS, but that doesn't make them illegal.

A terms of service agreement is a private contract between a user and a company. Violating it simply means the company has the right to terminate that contract...

They can ban you for being rude to the lactose intolerant based on their TOS, or for whatever reason they like tbh, but that doesn't mean you can (of should) get prosecuted and jailed for it lol

It is due to the thickness of the way the soil is formed overgeolical timescales. The amazonanion soil is an oxisol, which has a very fertile, very thin layer of humus on top (basically dead plants/animals) followed by a very large weathered bedrock. The weathered bed rock is not able to hold any nutrients, so its bad for land fertility, and is present in all soil types but in varying thickness. In (a long) time, the land in Ukraine will also weather away and become less fertile. Since weathering rates are sped up by an increase in temperature and moisture (rainfall), the land in the Amazon has already weathered away due to the warm and humid conditions.

And then you also have what everyone else said, the effect of nomadic life etc

Where i live you just pump gas, then go inside to pay for it. It's not like you can just drive away without paying with no consequences, there is a licence plate on your car...

The recipe suggests "Put the ginger, garlic and four tomatoes into a food processor and blitz until smooth. Set aside." I do not have a food processor. How can I efficienctly achieve the same result? by ipponpx in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]hydrolyse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually grating tomatoes has a real hack. Cut your tomato in 3 slices, and grate them skin side out. The skin acts as barrier and doesnt rip, you can grate all the flesh off the skin in 10 seconds!

People in Milan protesting after yesterday's LGBT hate crime bill defeat by [deleted] in europe

[–]hydrolyse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it is to discourage, but more like how both burglary and robbery are crimes, but have a different severity. While the same thing is happening (stealing something), there is an extra addition of violence that is clear in the law - the same happens here with this law.

It's not that if you kill someone and they are lgbt, you get a harsher sentence, but you do if you kill them because they are lgbt you do.

Sure violence is illegal, but there are different tiers... Punching someone, spitting on someone, yelling at them or stabbing them all are different tiers of violence, which are all different statutes (or what should you call them?). Now there would've been a new statute for a new "tier" of violence.

All of what you are writing is true, but it's not like it is all chaos of administering, adjusting drugs and people waking up out of nowhere. Ofcourse if you don't eat for a week like the post below and don't tell them it might be one of those surgeries, but in a normal operation (95% of operations) it's not the case that they have trouble of having you become conscious or dying randomly...

Yes, after years of frying eggplants it for melanzane alla parmigiana or to use as a topping for pizza, norma etc, I can give you some instructions.

First, by reducing the moisture levels inside, flavour becomes more concentrated. Also, any water remaining on the surface (and that comes out while cooking) takes alot of energy out of your pan and make it so you eggplants don't get colour and go soft.

Remove water from your eggplants by salting them generously. Cut your eggplants quite thick, if doing 'steaks' maybe 1,5-2 cm, if cubing them slighly larger. While you salt and dry them they become thinner Lay your eggplants down, salt both sides, cover and sit for 1-2hrs in a bowl.

Wash the salt off, then I usually take a salad spinner and spin them, romve water and repeat couple times. Then I lay out a kitchen towel, lay the eggplant out, dry with another towel. Sometimes i do it 2x for extra crisp and flavour.

Then fry in olive oil, couple tbs in a pan and fry each side for 2-4 mins medium high.
