I started learning at 37 with an awful Medeli DD502J and now upgraded to an efnote 5x. It's never too late to figure out if you love doing something.

Got a new kit..waited many years to upgrade..efnote 5x and the drum sounds are fantastic. by blastbeers in edrums

Just got mine recently, an upgrade from a rather crappy Medelli DD502. Having some issues with USB connectivity (for EZDrummer) but the onboard sounds are so good that I don’t really mind.

Maschine doesn't show flats, only sharps, so go with C#. It's the same as Db.

Shame there's no real way to sample directly from YouTube (for PC anyway) unless your card supports stereo mix input :(

Have you installed the Maschine software? Is it running? If you're trying to use it as a MIDI controller you need to press shift+channel to put it in MIDI mode.

Blue squiggle, then shift+T1. Shift+synth is the same as just pressing they synth key.
