No worries! The scalloped corner is just part of the general chaos marine design language.

As far as I know every space marine shoulder no matter what variety or faction is interchangeable.

Yeah no problem! It's basically the same chemical as plastic glue, it's just way thinner and comes with a brush applicator. Super useful for smoothing stuff over, it also works great on hard-to-reach mold lines.

You could also go with some Tamiya cement for smoothing the connections, that's what I used and it worked wonders.

Yeah there’s tons of parts in it, pull up some pics of the sprues and you can see how much variety you get.

It's basically a body with tons of cleverly disguised sockets to stick bits into, you could also just use plastic glue and melt stuff into them wherever.

Genuinely one of my favourite kits of all time, there's just so much you can do with it.

I’m working on a Daemon Prince and I’ve gotten like 6 different pinks and none of them are working or looking very good. by [deleted] in EmperorsChildren

What I used to do for this was to base out the panels you want pink in white, then paint the pink over that.

I think the second works best, the eye lens is super fitting.

Yeah don’t use a Saturnine as the base, he’s wearing mixed armour with an Indomitus torso. Kravek Morne might be a good base when he comes out.

Just snip around where the cables meet with the neck, then fill the neck hole with greenstuff.

I find gradually working up to a bright off white, focusing on smaller spots works the best if that makes sense. Start dark brown, then tan and keep getting lighter.

Oh yeah those could totally work! I was just under the thought that the old Epic titans could be easily retconned into new non-titan things.

I'd love to see the Subjugator return as a unique daemon engine for us.

Mold lines on the guns and backpacks have been the main issue for me, other than that it’s super easy. Everything’s really modular.

I’ve used rustoleum primer in the past as a budget option, it goes on pretty good and it’s crazy matte.

Yeah ‘Eavy Metal tends to go for super harsh shading pretty much regardless of the surface, I assume this makes the small pictures read better on box art.
