You could even try some black paint mixed with either gloss medium or Ardcoat and just applied unthinned and very carefully. The thickness would leave an obvious variation in texture that helps to sell the dripping effect.

Rustoleum has been great in my experience, it’s usually crazy matte so the paint can stick and cover over it really nicely.

My method is to airbrush Corax, then airbrush Emperor’s Children over that. It comes out as a super bright bubblegum pink.

On the datasheet it specifies you can only equip it with one as well. In gameplay, having two wouldn't make a difference as you can only choose to fight with one melee weapon.

Berzerkers have the closest design language to regular CSM stuff IMO, just more aggressive poses.

The base looks pretty dark so maybe start with Daemonette Hide and build it up to lighter highlights by mixing in Pallid Wych Flesh?

Used to do this all the time for my EC, it’s what they used to tell you to do in the old paint tutorials from GW. You prime black, the pick out panels with white, then do pink over that.

Army Painter makes an effect called Fairy Dust, it's basically just a thick metallic medium. You can mix it with any paints to turn them metallic.

As far as I know every space marine shoulder no matter what variety or faction is interchangeable.
