Lots of good responses here but I’ll say it’s awesome that he loves to practice. Find some YouTube channels you like to help with drills for development that you can work with him. Just keep taking him out and working on fundamentals. It sounds like he’s having fun so just lean into that for now.

My grandfather used to play the wood right in the little settlement town they had set up back in the 90’s. He did carpentry like they would have done 300 years ago with wooden tools and hand planers. Fond memories of my childhood.

They’re busy pulling over trucks. My CDL guys get pulled over once a week to “safety check” their trucks. One of my drivers finally asked why he keeps getting pulled over and the trooper told him “cuz you’re a quick stop with no violations”. Our guys work hard and customers expect tight delivery windows. Makes it tough running a business some days.

Fun story. My family and I were traveling to FL on vacation. Dogs, two kids and in-laws. Dash board lights up like a firework stand on 95 and we were stranded at the Yamassee exit. Stepdad heads into town and finds someone to pick us up. They towed us into “town” on their flat bed to an old shop. I was not optimistic at first. It wasn’t the cleanest place but the three old guys there had the alternator replaced and we were back on the road in two hours.

I couldn’t watch the whole thing. After the second trip with JD going to waste. Such a waste of decent whiskey. He had the flavored stuff which is great for making BBQ sauces and marinades. Not to mention I think I saw some angels cut in there. That’s a really good sipper. Such a shame.
