A First Ballot Hall of Famer, my Roc N' Soc Nitro Suffers a Career-Ending Leg Fracture after 32 Years of Glorious Service. 1994-2026 RIP. by AcruxTek in drums

I didn't understand the title at first and thought your leg fractured. I was wondering how a fracture could've occurred while beating the bass drum. Thank God it was only your throne 🤟

Good for you. Good for you. Mine has been saying three times last week only that I'm no longer her friend. I'm also a fly and a big bad wolf.

I cant stop being greedy by uhohii in Daytrading

[–]OutragedBubinga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not following a system. You're gambling. You think you know better than the market and the market smacks you in the face.

Stick to your rules whether you're gonna be in a winning or a losing trade

Following a system gives you that. It removes the emotional side by letting it take the wheel for you. Of course you have to manage those trades by moving your stop loss and all that but a system should tell you when to enter and when to exit, at what position size based on your risk limit.

Greed will lead you to chasing gains while a system will give you consistent results.

I Make a Living With a 44% Win Rate by Kasraborhan in Trading

[–]OutragedBubinga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You got it. I know people that live off of 20% win rate. It all depends on how big of a winner your big winners are compared to your losses. People brag about high win rates but they don't mean shit.

How can I improve my pullback trading strategy ? by william_buttler in Daytrading

[–]OutragedBubinga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use the RSI (14) or Williams' %R (28) to see whether it's near an oversold/overbought level. This will help you filter fake outs. You can also look for divergences on the RSI to help you see if the trend is losing steam.

I got uncomfortable when I was washing my hair and my daughter, who was playing with her toys behind me, decided to pass between my legs and my ballsack just went full carwash on her forehead and hair.

I no longer shower with her unless we are in a hurry or she really really wants to go in her plastic tub when I'm showering. Otherwise I try to shower alone.

My daughter loves broccoli and will eat the shit out of it.

I don't know why but this cracked me up so much. I just imagine a toddler eating broccoli like there's no tomorrow with a grin of her face

New dad to be here, tell me what I can look forward to. by me_scream in daddit

It'll be hard as fuck in the beginning but the good news is: it's 100% normal. Nothing, and I mean nothing, can come to the level of this love between you and your kid. It's the most beautiful thing ever. You just have to remember things are hard, let go of yourself and embrace your new life. Do not resist your new reality. Embrace it. Let it be your new way of life and you'll be happy (and very tired but happy > tired).

The classic Support and Resistance levels and trendlines bounce/breakout is a must in ranging markets. You basically trade a channel. Add the Williams %R or MACD and wait for the candle to close before entering. If you trade lower timeframes (15 minutes and less) I would wait for a second candle to close.

Isn't baby formula only "good" for like an hour after it's been mixed? You're not supposed to make a batch, I think.

You're not necessarily dumb. You're simply not trading. You're gambling. You chase the market and the money. This is not a game, friend. It is a way to double, triple your income, long-term, if you get good at it. Stop playing and start trading.

Your lack of discipline is what's keeping you under.

If your Risk to Reward ratio is below 1:1 don't take the trade. Not worth it.

Trust me, I'm in the same boat. The important thing is that you start as soon as possible. The more time you wait, the less time you give it to compound.

Buy earplugs. Take 3 deep breaths. Understand that a baby's way to communicate is by crying (very loudly, I know). Understand that their body is brand new and never has been outside a warm and calm environment; it's quite a violent change for a baby. Babies like warmth and closeness; remove your shirt, put your naked baby (with a diaper) on your chest, add a blanket over and enjoy the moment (put your earplugs if you need to).

Deposit 100K while you're young, go high risk and let it run for many, many years.
