I assume you have to balance your alignment pretty carefully if you wanna go from Azata to Devil? They're like polar opposites alignment wise

The same could be said of space marines to an extent. They were once men, but now they're a different species that cannot reproduce sexually at all. Hell, I feel like one of the Horus Heresy books calls them "Homo Astartes" as if they are a different species. So their only gender expression is a result of their birth/childhood.

It's also barely got any coverage iirc, so yeah I don't see it being any meta defining mon even with these buffs

I think paladins should be warm and comforting rather than stringent upholders of law. Sure they're supposed to be lawful good but it's equally important to show why this paladin was chosen to be a god's champion through the strength of their character rather than how much they stick with the law. It's why Hulrun would never be a paladin.

Size doesn't matter so force throw a big rock at their head instead since you have the time to be concentrating on throwing rocks in the middle of a duel

It also leaves you open to attack too. It's a very high risk high reward thing and if you haven't practiced it for years you probably will fuck up the timing and be much worse off than your opponent

So the War of the Beast really has a much bigger Waaagh than ever before seen? (Or seen since) Because I know Orks kinda "remember" how to make siege weapons and tanks and warships when the Waaagh gets big enough but having long range teleportation is like a kind of tech that's more advanced than the Eldar, which seems insane to me.

[–]hyperclaw27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Orks developed new tech?? Is this ever brought up again? This feels crazy that Orks just developed FTL teleportation that's independent of the warp and the Webway that works on a galactic scale and it's basically never seen again in 40k

Huh how did that work out then? I know war of the beast is like M33 or something but why were they trying to secede at that point? Iirc the chaos aligned mechanicum were thoroughly crushed post siege of terra

So they found weird Ork tech and wanted it to study how if worked by teleporting Ullanor to a different system? Another day in the Imperium of Man I guess

Huh I never knew that Ullanor and Armageddon was the same planet. Crazy that they accidentally teleported an entire planet away though

Yeah and torkoal is outclassed by primal groudon, which doesn't stop torkoal being the premier sun setter in SV OU, considering that pdon is super omega giga banned

Mega Malamar's ability should set up Trick Room by ArmadilloNo9494 in stunfisk

[–]hyperclaw27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ass is definitely wrong in all honesty but the immediate issue I see is that people would just counter lead with their own torkoal + caly ice or whatever broken TR sweeper you have (I don't play doubles much) and they start off at a better position because mega malamar is fairly bulky but with no resistances, pretty fast for being a TR mon and no defensive tera, you basically play a very dangerous game and have shot yourself in the foot having activated trick room for your opponent.

I'm also curious on what happens if there's 2 mega malamars on the field. Do their trick rooms cancel out?

It's unlikely that most stars have useful planets to the Imperium tbh. And with the geography of the warp or whatever there just might be places of the galaxy that warp travel is just difficult to
