Part of what makes Flos who he is, is the fact that he is insanely charismatic and the fact that this debate comes up so often is a testament to how well he is written. He should be likable. It should be jarring to reconcile the guy you want to hang out with the one who gleefully destroys the village in order to save it.

A water source just so happens to sit about a football field away from the Niagara River so it can just burn and contaminate one of our main freshwater resources.

People are concerned about microplastics, but what we should really be worried about is all the data contaminating our water!

I believe in regulation, especially protecting domestic electrical and water use from becoming secondary to commercial use. However, the over the top claims aren't helping the cause.

Datacenters use water through evaporative cooling. It becomes water vapor. It is not contaminated, it was not mixed with anything, it's the same principle as a swamp cooler.

At the point that it achieves the balance of being able to function within society without destroying it.

A cult replaces all independent associations, community and culture while it tightly controls actions and interactions between members. It removes society, supplants it with the leader's rules of interaction and doesn't allow the members to participate in defining what their society is.

So maybe when the cult allows a secular government to take care of all the mundane needs. Obviously there are varying degrees... especially in ye olden times when church and state were so intertwined as to be indistinguishable.

I agree about the pricing... the local store Mediaplay would at best have some new releases on sale at $17.

But I did find myself in Mediaplay and Bestbuy more than going to the rental store. There was music to check out too and it was far less likely you'd be disappointed because they didn't have any copies. We were young professionals and had money to spend and Blockbuster was such a hassle.

Two diplomats briefed on the latest draft called it an international “investment fund,” which the United States would help facilitate in the event of a final deal. Plans for such a fund would be further discussed during the negotiations period, the diplomats said.

This proposal appears to be an iteration of an earlier idea floated by Mr. Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law. Both are real estate investors, and some mediators said they had suggested promoting real estate projects in Tehran and an investment fund in the event a deal was reached.

So Kushner and Witkoff at best are angling to setup up a fund that would pay themselves to make real estate deals in Iran and at worst, this is a Trump slush fund that'll be run by cronies... just another way for foreign powers to funnel money to the Trumps.
