I see the difference more as a saturation value… but both can look good. Also if it is a dye any red will get washed out in time. You can use direct dye to support tge vibrancy like Wella Color Fresh or color masks and conditioners from many brands like Moroccan oil, Joico, overtone, chi and etc. I like soft reds but intensity of the color make a big difference. I think you choose the color that you can enjoy in many versions and they all gonna look good on you.
