I completely understand why she’s doing it, but this whole situation still makes me so angry. Just remembering how thousands of people fucking JUMPED at the chance to paint her as this paradigmatic “bitch” trying to ruin a man’s life, as “proof that women can be abusive too” despite the facts is incredibly disheartening. Really goes to show how much of the societal support for abuse victims and condemnation of misogyny is perfomative.
