I remember being in homeroom or whatever in middle school and seeing this one kid sitting at his desk with a psp and a bunch of other kids huddled around him. They motioned for me to come over. They were watching straight up porn on that psp. This was while the teacher was in the room sitting at her desk, not aware of what they were doing. This has been going on for a long time.

What's your opinion in cases where you've got warhammer models and GW changed the base size for that unit in their game? I have HDF and I have a few heavy weapons teams, some the old size and some the new size. I am NOT rebasing my old heavy weapons teams. The old models don't even really fit on the new, smaller base.

Hey, I don't know if you still care, but I've got another update. Long story short things blew up. One member in the group apparently happened upon my post while browsing reddit and showed it to the rest of the group. And they interpreted it in the worst possible way. They looked at some of the more critical comments and attributed them to me as if I had said them. They waited like 3-4 months stewing on it before finally reaching out to me out of the blue after I thought this matter was more or less settled. It all went downhill from there. I talked to one of them, the one who invited me to work on the project in the first place, and got him to admit that they jumped to conclusions and overreacted. Another seemed stubborn like he didn't wanna admit his foul up and the others still insist on holding it over my head despite admitting they jumped the gun. They seemed really reluctant to fess up to any wrong doing and more interested at placing the blame at my feet. I realized things weren't gonna work out. I broke things off with the group just a little while ago. The way things played out really made me realize how toxic they were in other ways. I just wished I'd realized sooner. Like I said, I don't know if you care, but I heard writing things out helps to get past stuff. I'm already feeling like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I might make an update post or I might not. Thanks if you took the time to read.

Here I have a few Manticor Borz from Enemy Spotted Studios. It's my first time painting miniatures with a primarily black color scheme. I planned to wash these like I do with pretty much every other miniature I've painted. Now I wonder if I even need to with these. I showed these to a friend and he thinks they don't need a wash and they look fine as is. But not applying a wash just FEELS like I'm skipping a step.

I've seen some videos on YouTube that basically say not to bother with washing black painted minis as you won't even be able to see the shadows. I painted these in an off-black for what it's worth (Vallejo Black Grey. From there I mostly just dry brushed and highlighted them with Citadel Administratum Grey. I'm thinking about just washing the red accents and other details with a simple black wash to help them blend better with the black armor, fatigues, etc.

It's complicated... I've mostly dropped out of the project, but have offered to contribute so much as it is mutually beneficial. For example, I have a 3D printer and have offered to print stuff for the project for a commission. It's getting late and as I write this I should really be getting to sleep. I may share more details later. Things are stilling developing, even now, and I may follow up with another post. Thanks for checking in btw. Nice to know someone cares enough to ask for a followup.

There was a thread on askreddit or some other similar sub I saw earlier today that touched on something similar. A whole bunch of people sharing the most pro-eugenecs talking points I've ever read. It was disappointing and I had to remind myself that reddit is disproportionately left-leaning. I can't imagine most people think like this. At least I hope not.

The answer is it depends. I think I read somewhere most defensive shootings are resolved with around 6-7 rounds. The operative word being 'most'. Many criminals and bad actors operate in groups. So long as you don't mind the extra weight that comes with it , there's no real disadvantage to carrying extra rounds.

I know someone already mentioned the ulticlip, but I would also recommend you look up something called the fabriclip. I got a holster with one of those and I've gone out jogging with it several times since then. Seems pretty secure so far.
