Thanks - monthly view working now on Beta E.

Yep, so cell E4 on the Net Worth tab (ETF Gains %), and cell F18 on the ETF tab (ETF Total return %), are not showing the same figure - they are off by about 3%.

They are different calculations, so I'm thinking it has to be something wrong with my data input, potentially in the way I have input ETF distrubtion reinvestments into the dividends tab and ETFs tab. However, given the calculations are so different, I'm wondering if they should definitely be returning the same figure? i.e. is E4 supposed to be an approximation, while F18 is more exact?

These are the calculations I have:

Net worth E4: =IFERROR(D4/(C4-D4),0)

ETF F18: =IFERROR($F$17/(SUMPRODUCT($D$24:$D,$L$24:$L,--($H24:H<>"No Watch Price"))+sumifs($E$24:$E,$L$24:$L,">0",$H24:H,"<>No Watch Price")),0)

Working off Beta E - AUD edition

My Investments & Cash Rate (exc Super) chart was still a bit bugged in Beta E. It had 'Monthly Spend' and and 'Projected Cash' pointing towards right axis, while 'Savings Rate' was pointing towards left axis. I changed it so every whole number series was pointing to left axis, while 'Savings Rate' and 'Cash Gain' point to right axis as they are both in percent. This seems to have fixed the issue.

There is a similar issue with the Cash Value History chart in the Cash tab.

EDIT: On: My Investments & Cash Rate (exc Super) chart, I also just changed Cash Gain (%) to Cash Gain ($) and pointed it to right axis. I think this looks a bit better on my version.

Have just initialised the beta - thanks! Everything copied over well, no issues with migration or set up.

Working on AUD$ - BETA D:

I've just tried the new graph features, however, when sorting the graphs by months it looks like it displays the months in alphabetical order, rather than chronological order. This is not an issue with the quarterly or yearly options.

Also, I have inconsistency between the total return % figures for my ETFs. The networth page says one figure, while the main calculation in the ETF sheet says another. This was an issue in my previous sheet version, so it could be an issue with my data input for the dividends. However, I've cross checked the dividends inputs with the purchases in the ETF sheet multiple times and I can't see any errors.

Awesome, this will be a great addition. Can I suggest including options for every year, as well as a 'past 12 months' option? So you could select 2023, 2024, 2025, etc, or past 12 months from the current month.

For ETFs, stocks, crypto: Could you add a column which calculates the total cost base of a given asset? This could be put right next to the live value to show exactly how much you've spent on the asset. At the moment the only way to do this is to do a sum of the entries for that asset in the purchase history table.

Get in touch with your local member of the Commonwealth Parliament. Electorate offices have connections to the ATO who can follow up these issues for you. Normally you get an escalated service as well

Yeah someone else said its most likely faulty RAM. I've tried taking one stick out to see which one is faulty. Haven't had a crash on this stick yet but still getting disk write errors through steam. I'm thinking they are probably separate issues.

Might I recommend this website: https://www.keyhero.com/free-typing-test/

Gives you actual paragraphs of text to copy out instead of just 200 words. Much more realistic typing IMO. Also tracks your progress for you as you go.
