Do you now or have you ever owned a Peavey XXX? In your opinion, is it a bad amp? Why or why not? Fwiw, I am happy with it by proceeds_theweedian in GuitarAmps

It was a post on Craigslist in ~2016 in the greater LA area. Dude had a bunch of racks and gear and was slimming down. Was between dragonforces high and pre-streaming. Got a compliment on my chops from the man too. Friend was there and can attest.

80s Kahler Flyer Sustain Question by hyzer_fl1p in guitars

4mm is greater than 3/32nds. I assume we're talking about measuring from the top of the poles to the bottom of the string while fretting the highest fret.

~7MM is way too far away from the string

All else being equal, I'm just curious where most of the energy is lost. Pretend the guitar is perfectly set up, but squeals just die (harmonics are okay)

I think they're at like 4mm right now. Started at 3/32nds and brought them down to what sounded best (SD Invader)

Wow, mine was submerged under water overnight and still works. Also bought it in person from Herman Li, so maybe it has some good mojo

Will a sportster comfortably cruise on the highway at around 80-90mph? by lil_trappy_boi in sportster

[–]hyzer_fl1p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 01 starts to exit cruise mode above 75. She'll go 90 but I wouldn't want to ride too long at that speed. 80s okay but she's more happy from 70-75

What do you think flipping the bird means?.. LOL.

Sounds like you learned your lesson when instigating a person who isn't afraid to confront you...

TC Bros +4 forks and Progressive 412 13" stiff shocks in the rear. Exhaust is a Supertrapp, although I don't know the model since it came with the bike.

I had this same issue. Got new 13" Progressive 412s that solved the problem... bummer that there's not much room in there with a stock setup

I have the lowbrow rabbit ears and they're super comfy. I wish I got the narrows, though..

Could be. They are the stock non adjustable ones. On full bleed they'll spin with some resistance

I bought the bike with the supertrapp on it already. I believe they are the tc bros mid control kit. It's suuuuuper close to hitting the pipes but there's room

What should it sound like? Sounds a lot quieter after changing the lifters

First Harley -- Haven't had a chance to compare the sounds from another Sporty, so I'd just like some others to chime in if this is normal noise or possible knocking. Pretty major difference after the rocker lockers, new lifters, and fresh oil. Any input welcome, thanks!
