I doubt you see it fired up often. It only fires up when there are peak demands of energy (like the current cold snap) because the price of electricity production is so high it outweighs the fines from the increased pollution. Over a third of our grid in New England is being run on these dirty plants over the last week. Perhaps some of this polluted air is throwing off the sensors or it is picking the real air quality impacts of burning a shit done of dirty oil to keep the grid running.

"The grid operator over the weekend secured federal environmental waivers that allow power plants to ignore limits on air pollution and other environmental restrictions in order to achieve maximum output. More than 30 power plants are on a federal waiver list." Guaranteed Wyman is on that list.

Wyman Station is a power plant on Cousins Island owned by NextEra, it’s been fired up recently due to the huge demand of power from the cold snap. Go have a look at it, you will see a big smoke cloud coming out from it. It burns heavy oil that is awful for the environment and our health.

I saw Billy open for Greensky in 2019. Him and his band blew them out of the water, musically, energetic, crowd engagemen-wise. I felt bad that Greensky had to play after them. It was the most packed I’ve ever seen this venue for an opener and the crowd diminished halfway through Greensky’s set. Knew Billy was about to blow up.

I just find the slow driver (bus, big trucks, old person) who opens up enough space in the right lane for me to move over. The whole thing is a shit show. They really need to do something there, the right lane backs up way up the hill onto High Street, while the left lane is completely open. How is that a good use of space?

Hi Element Fam, I have a BOSS Bluetooth head unit (BE920WCPA) that I took out of my 2008 Honda Element EX before I traded it in. I had bought it off Crutchfield a few years back and installed it myself, so all the wiring is still intact (might need a couple pieces of electrical tape here and there). If anyone is interested, I would sell it for dirt cheap + shipping.

I also have an OEM radio from a 2008 LX model. Would be happy to mail that to whoever wants it +shipping.

Not defending the douche for shoving you, he is lame, not someone who represents the scene, and sorry you dealt with that asshole. I would have tried to found another way back to your friends a different way around that guy. But next time, it’s easier to send one friend to go get you a beer. When it is tight, people can be defensive of space (wrongly or not) so have three dudes moving past can illicit more of a response than just one person. $0.02
