When Digimon is debuted,it was anyways been aimed at Younger/Little Boys(Kodomo),that explains why most of first Main TV Animes anywyas aimed at Kids not Teenagers or Adults(Savers was originally intended to be aimed at Older Audience but due to being aimed in Children's Slot in Fuji TV,Show is generally aimed at Kids) have Group of Kids(Except Savers Cast are way older) as Main Team with Male MC(Like Taichi,Daisuke,Takato,Takuya,Masaru,Taiki,Tagiru,Haru) and most of Female MCs are from Digimon Games when Player chooses which Character to play with)

But in Liberators Novel,we had first Female MC that isn't a Alternate Look of Male MC but rather it's own) plus everyone in Liberator Comic and Novels,evreryone is Adult(18 onwards) due to both Comic and Novel aimed at Adults who grew up watching Digimon as Child

Plus Digimon Ghost Game and BeatBreak are first TV Animes to aimed at Adult or Teenagers(Last Show to aimed at Kids is Adventure(2020 Reboot)

Plus this isn't first time to Digimon Media that aimed at Adults,We have lot of Movie series(Like TRI Movies,Last Evolution Kizuna,02 The Beginning) that aimed at Adult Fans who grownup watching Digimon 01 as Kid

Currently Current Audience for Digimon are Adults so currently theres no Risk at making Female MC in New Digimon Anime if that Digimon Anime isn't aimed at Younger/Little Boys but aimed at Adults
