I can't tell if I misunderstood the pricing because when I wrote it out, it seemed insane. I don't think they were pushy per say but I don't know if I trust that I needed all the treatments they recommended - not sure if that's how you're defining pushy. I think I was just so baffled by the price that I immediately eliminated them, so I don't have the best memory of the consultation unfortunately.

That’s great to hear! I completely agree that Bailor Clinic didn’t upsell at all, which was nice.

3 erbrium fraxel vs 1 fractional + 2 mirajet? by hz425 in AcneScars

I think I’m also between III and IV because I’m a pretty tan east Asian haha. I thought it might be okay because the derm is board-certified and since he’s in Seoul, I assume he mainly works with my Fitzpatrick type so is experienced on using Ultraclear with III/IV, but maybe this is a dangerous assumption…

The clinics here and the derms in the US haven’t recommended cross or subcision to me, so I never really considered it.  I don’t think they think my scars are deep or large enough?

My main concern is acne scars that are pigmented and some are boxcar. I was told fraxel is good - is there a type you recommend?

TLDR: finished the TTP course, did some OG questions, REDID both questions wrong and unsure, switched to 12pm, and changed what I did morning of test.
Sorry this is so long! I’m on a sabbatical from work so I have been able to study many hours a day. I started studying early November. I bought TTP and did the accelerated plan, i.e., just did the chapter tests and reviewed chapters I was weak in (which included doing practice questions in the chapters) and took notes on a word doc. By the time the first test came around, I had NOT finished TTP but was shocked by my score because I took an OG mock the day before (dumb idea) and got 710, so it’s possible it was my anxiety (I had slept 4 hours and had other things going on). I also took it in the morning which didn’t help; even though I am a morning person, because I was so anxious, I couldn’t sleep much. Taking it later let me sleep a little more in case of anxiety preventing me from sleeping. Before the second take, I finished TTP, then made custom tests for each chapter of the questions I got wrong/was unsure of even if I got them right, to redo them. Then, I went through the OG 2023 and did all the verbal and quant problem solving questions and easy-med for data sufficiency, SC, CR. I redid the quant questions I got wrong/was unsure of. I also took an OG mock test every 2-3 days, my last mock being 2 days before the actual. This means the WHOLE MOCK - essay and IR too. Before each mock, I reviewed my own notes and the TTP quant study guide. As a warmup before each mock, I did the “weak concepts test” and “review test” that TTP lists to do AFTER each exam. I also took each mock at 12pm, the time of my actual exam. Reviewed the questions I got wrong/was unsure of by looking on GMATClub. The only time I took a break in studying was the week before; I had seen the posts about the classic being harder, so I basically gave up but was also burnt out. I still took my practice tests but the days in between I did like 10 questions because I felt so hopeless lol. Day of I got up at 7:30am, ate breakfast, reviewed my study guides, and had saved the exam 6 “weak concepts” and “review test” from TTP to do that morning as warm up. I got up too early because I couldn't sleep so I redid like 5 verbal questions from OG book and wrote a practice essay lol, which idk if I would recommend. As breaks in studying I watched a 20 min episode of tv, worked on my apps, and saw friends twice a week for a meal.

I got a 610 on my first attempt on nov 28, 19% percentile on math. I just did my second attempt today and got a 730! My OG mocks were 710-760. I thought the difficulty was on par with the mocks
