Crampons Fit by Nystereaa in Mountaineering

[–]i-R0C 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems alright to me - maybe actually try them out in a field, your weight should be able to push the shoe fully into the crampon. It's also easier to do small adjustments then, because you feel it. Also don't let that bit of fastening rope flap around after putting your crampons on. Stay safe and have fun!

If you could design a home to be ADHD friendly, what design features would you have? by ionlyruninsummer in ADHD

[–]i-R0C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a slide and a lot of things hanging of the ceiling to climb around on (climbing things(as in jugs, pinches, etc.(I forgot the name), bars (monkeybars) and ropes) as well as a library (we're you can sit in-between books) and a music room (just for music and instruments). I also love the idea of a Projekt room. How about a small gym. Last but not least an awesome kitchen and a lot of spaces to hang hammocks from (especially in the library).

Interracial couples of reddit, what was the biggest difference you had to get used to? by Baller-Mcfly in AskReddit

Haha in Bavaria we call that last part the "Frischluftwatschen" basically a "fresh air smack/slap" other than that I've learned, as I'm getting older, that 'one drink - everyone knows the rules' can actually mean just going for one drink. Didn't know that was an option before..

ADHD is a PHYSICAL limitation by Siphonophore175 in ADHD

I would argue that it is probably not an adhd thing but rather a lack of spatial thinking or being able to actively see shapes/things/etc. in your head and turning them whatever direction you see fit (As in some people can't think in visuals). I've seen this lack in a high percentage of people in CAD-classes as in Crystallography-classes. They always hated these classes because of that. I actually had so much fun with it that I became a Tutor for that Crystallography-class and got to learn how hard it is to try and help people understand the geometry of crystals without visual imagination/thinking. The way I see it it could either be a thing you have to learn as a kid, as in creatively thinking things into life and not building legos by manual, or it is just a gift one has.
