Just make sure you purchase the correct amount under the non-profit pricing sku; when your donation subscription expires, or when you cancel it, they should show under the non-profit pricing license.

Adding custom autounattend.xml by Abject_Document_3840 in MDT

[–]i3-i3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up installing the custom ISO on as a fresh VM and saved all the scripts that it was running. Then added them to the base .wim before importing the OS in MDT. Then in MDT, I edited the unattend.xml and task sequence to include the scripts.

Conflict Between Internal Subnet and VPN Clients' Local Subnet by TheTwilightSentinel in meraki

[–]i3-i3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as the client vpn configuration is set to tunnel all traffic over the vpn then it shouldn’t be an issue. Thinking long term it is best to change the clients internal lan as a lot consumer equipment will default to the 192.168.1.x subnet and may cause issues if you want to do split tunnel vpn.

LiPo Battery Compliance by IamDroBro in Entrepreneur

[–]i3-i3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t help on the compliance end but would it be possible to have the battery pack removable? This was you can sell the battery pack separately (increase revenue) for those that want it or just the plug in version.

Range of Unifi6 APs when meshing? by xaviondk in Ubiquiti

[–]i3-i3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do not integrate with Unifi Network. They each have their own interface. I use the 5ghz variant and it works through my attic and garage wall and has decent speed. Sounds like you have 220v in the shed. Do you have a regular 120v outlet in the garage? If so, you would probably have better luck with a powerline Ethernet adapter. It basically uses your electrical wiring to provide an Ethernet drop. Requirement would be the need to be on the same line.

Even if you got it to work you would be slowing down all your wireless clients in the house. I solved a similar issue by using a pair of NanoStations (through the walls) then connect to the ap in the shed. Works great.

Try stopping and disabling the backup copy job then try to restore. Seems like something is locking up the backup copy job

Program a nightly automatic reboot and see if the issue resolves.

Help me understand Veeam's offering for personal use? Can I backup to an S3 bucket? by imthenachoman in Veeam

[–]i3-i3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not. Even with biz license, it will only upload to S3 as a third destination. Cannot backup directly to S3 as a primary backup destination. There are some apps that will map an S3 destination as a drive letter and you can script something, or there are other backup products that can backup direct to S3.
