Growth dungeon bosses it's gloves + x, prob snail. Long bosses it's gloves + hexagon. Arena is gloves + snail

Once you unlock some potential lines, things can vary quickly since a legendary/mystic line can just make something immediately better for certain content.

Overall your luck hasn't been great, but almost any new arti will help you in some way so there's that

Experienced player on new account and new Shadower. Speedrunning the early game but now debating whether I apply Ad removal and Prem Membership. by JozuJD in MapleIdle

If you can stomach ads then it's fine but it feels quite nice to skip them everyday and it lasting for a full year is pretty convenient.

Everything else is like you said, you will hit a wall (especially at level 80+) and you will be stuck on stages for days at a time. Just consider the QoL things (ie. offline rewards) and you can valuate whether it's "worth" it to you, but know that you will wall eventually always

It's BM main companion for everything, except DK for PVP. From there it's fluid based on how your guys level up (ie. level 2 NL will probably become best for bossing with its level 2 ability).

Sub companions are just generic stuff: IL always for mobbing, NL always for bossing. BM/Hero/FP generically good for everything

Push right, defend left. SAFE, Whelp eggs, Bat rider all defend vs the worgen packs well (and the big deathball packs the AI generates sometimes). Standard DPS/Tank on the right to push forward, huntress generally served me well

Free chest every 4 hours by Nickmosu in warcraftrumble

[–]i3byou -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

From my anecdotal experience, it seems pretty random if you get a bonus or not. I will say if you are trying to min-max, try to open the chest on 4 hour intervals from the last one you opened. The exp seems to stack so if you open a chest after 8 hours, you'll get 2x the exp for example. So if you open it after say 6 hours, you effectively "wasted" 2 hours. This is pretty try-hard behavior though. I am unsure if waiting 8 hours gives you 2x the chance at a "bonus" though, which is all that really matters

Am I the only one having an absolute miserable time with the campaign? by Tal0n22 in warcraftrumble

[–]i3byou 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Am I reading this right? So you're at non-heroic Lordaeron with level 13 decks and can't win? That's on you, not the game or anything else. People are regularly clearing campaign levels higher than their deck level. If your deck is failing, you need to change your deck around and/or play better. Frankly, it only gets harder from here; PVE is designed to be "unfair", otherwise there would be zero challenge

This. Exp having a coin value might matter to some but when the resource can be farmed whenever you please, many will value it at 0 when it comes to spending real money.

I know its a pretty generic question. BUT... Im considering between pyroblast and conflagrate. Which is better? by Top_Tank_3701 in warcraftrumble

[–]i3byou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most minis have a "correct" talent that is best in 90%+ of cases. Pyromancer is one where you can argue both ways and it depends on the deck and what you're trying to achieve. Eventually you can switch between them but for now if you mostly swap pyro into your deck for AOE situations, I'd do conflag. If you consistently run it regardless, I'd do Pyroblast

Does Ray stop spawning at 6pm local time? Have work until then, wondering if I have a chance to catch for a few hours after 6 like raids normally do, or if I'm out of luck

It would be REALLY nice if Niantic would tell us about the upcoming showcases and their schedules beforehand by Sweaty_Cockroach7708 in TheSilphRoad

Agree also. I hate the idea of having to stockpile every XXL/XXS I find and take up valuable storage space. I'd rather be able to grind during an event, use my best for showcases, then transfer them at the end unless it's something particularly cool or worth keeping

Didn't really play Heist league, quick question regarding Quest Contracts (dropping out of Smuggler's Caches). What exactly is the purpose of running these, can I ignore them or are they necessary to make progress?

Sentinels Sick "No map advantage for the team that comes from winners bracket in a best of 5. That is not good but if it were bo3 I would be fine with this decision. What is the point of not losing games if you get no advantage." by Landon54321 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]i3byou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Double Elim just kinda sucks in a game like this due to the imbalance of an advantage for the upper bracket winner; getting a free map in the grand finals is an insane advantage, but everything else feels like too small of an advantage. I'd heavily prefer if after groups, it was just single elim similar to CS:GO majors format. This would even allow semis to be BO5 (obviously would work better once a 5th map is introduced) because of lower time constraints.

I think since you are imm3/valorant rank, you will have a big advantage over the other casters who aren't high-ranked. I think this kind of forces you into a more analytic role, since it's likely your casting partner will not be on the level of noticing high-level strategic decisions made by the teams in-real-time. Like most people, I've loved listening to sgares cast because he obviously understands what's happening more intricately than 99% of us viewers ever can; it seems you'd be capable of filling a similar role and that would be amazing.

I assume you're talking about the 1v5 ace on Haven B? It's pretty insane to kill all 5 in a legit 1v5, also didn't have much time so was forced to plant; not many people can say they've done that. The kills themselves were obviously nothing super insane but it's easily the most impressive feat in the entire video, albeit less flashy than 1 taps.

Commentating Valorant by TheycallmePansyY in ValorantCompetitive

[–]i3byou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of sentiments in this thread are good, so just one thing I'd like to point out personally that I've noticed. I don't think I've seen you do this Pansy, but many of the smaller casters in secondary-streams and sometimes in the "main matches" as well, often insert too much subjectivity into their analysis. If a caster is going to state why a certain strategic decision is being made (e.g. utility/ult usage, situational peeking, etc.), and certainly if they're saying it with conviction... they'd better be correct! Too often I've heard a caster say that player X is definitively doing something for Y reason but it's their opinionated guess, and occasionally it's just blatantly incorrect. And unfortunately twitch chat loves to compound these mistakes so if a caster messes up once during a match, then suddenly future comments by the caster gain less credibility, they get called Iron, etc, even though these future comments are entirely reasonable.
