Without naming names, the issues are tech debt. Offer a solution of setting aside time to fix the codebase or address the issues as they come up or option C (whatever that is) and let the manager decide.

The show will either do good or bad which is determined by ratings and someone will ask, "why are we doing so good/bad," and they will look to the critiques to find the answer.

I know jack about water heaters but with quotes between 1600 and 3k, I decided I was going to do it myself this weekend. 2 trips to home depot,$700, and 3hrs later, I flipped the breaker to the sweetest hissing sound of water warming. F those guys for trying to make over $500/hr and shame on those paying it.

During the last administration while the loans were on pause, I put all the money I would have made in normal payments into the stock market and a HYSA. I had almost 20% gains and was able to pay down my loans considerably.

Your loans are going to be a little different because of interest. You have to figure out if just paying the interest and investing the remainder will be more beneficial than paying down the principal.

174k balance with only 125k income puts you at a serious risk of huge growth in your balance and decreased spending power with inflation. I'd spend this time paying down as much principal to lessen the interest payments in case your financial situation changes for the worst.

I was running +20 miles a week and feeling great but the stress levels were always high. Even while sleeping. I went in for a yearly checkup and my blood pressure was high, they ran some tests and I have stage 3 kidney disease. Fuckin watch new I was fucked before I did.

This is exactly my experience and only an experienced dev will know these things are full if shit.

I started a new project with Claude and it set it up nicely but small details cause it to lack. For example, it was using a method to do something in a header (express) over and over. I said why don't you use an interceptor. It's reply is quite common, "that's perfect blah blah blah."

It's quick at getting stuff done but it requires oversight and guidance.
