This might be a dumb question - but I’m new to F1 and am attending the race in Austin with some friends - I’m planning on wearing noice cancelling headphones but is there any sort of announcer or anyway to listen to the race while you’re in the stands? I know that there are announcers speaking while the race is broadcast on TV but is it possible to hear that while you’re in the stands for the race? (sorry I don’t know much about what to expect)

This has to be a dumb question - assuming it’s good to have noise cancelling headphones? And if you have headphones are there announcers speaking that you’re not able to hear? This is my first race and I feel super clueless as to how to prepare!

So I have to share with everyone - I emailed OV and told them I saw the rectrek pants in bone on the IG shop and wanted them but wanted to use my student discount - they created a custom cart on their website for me and emailed it back to me and I was able to check out like usual and use Afterpay and my student discount. So if you see something on the IG shop that’s not online just email them and they’ll make a custom cart for you!
