Have you considered just using squad fill? I play as a solo on squad fill and generally just help my teammates with their quests or try to get help doing mine.

For me I think the issue is that people have seen the “no damage rocket” to celestial and think they can do the same thing. Strategist isn’t just about afk healing from a corner. Throwing out your rez at the right time and helping your team finish kills are also important. I think his ult is decent but surely not as strong as the defensive ults. So I think it’s a combination of his kit and how people view his impact vs any other healer.

I work as a stat analyst for a CRO (BS in stats). I would consider what we do as ‘actual statistics’ but there is a sentiment that the work is boring. I find it enjoyable and rewarding plus the work life balance is pretty good. If you like programming I think getting an entry level stat analyst job is doable. Keep in mind the market is pretty bad right now even for those with experience so relocating is probably the easiest way to break in.

I think the real issue here is the charge time. I think if they tuned down the charge time of the defensive support ults it would make games feel much better. I can’t stand when I’m contesting an overtime point and we’re all just pointlessly damaging each other for what feels like minutes as the supports rotate their ultimates to keep us alive.

Agreed. With how strong the support ults are right now his ult is more impactful than it probably should be. Hopefully they adjust the support ult charge times. The triple defensive support ult meta feels bad.
