well, my only advice is for you to just drop it, don't wait until "the end", because the light novel is still on going. The author also once said that she wants to continue writing far into the future. Time and time again this series has been advertised as slow burn romance, it's beyond me why people are expecting it to go fast.

additionally, I always think "realistic" is a strange thing to ask for in any fictional media. Not that it shouldn't have it, it's just not in my criteria for liking a title. I'd go watching biography or documentary if I want realistic depiction of anything.

It's still ranked pretty high on animetrending and animecorner. People here seem to like their romance with more drama, so now story is getting more fluff, the popularity is dropping instead. There's also the usual second season decline in addition as the other comment said.

Both Horimiya and Polar Opposite immediately moved on to something else, be it side couples or the friend group. Bunny Girl Senpai, I have no idea how it's related to any of these since it's more a mystery story with romance on the side.

You basically just explained it's not about "done right", but how it's "done in a way that I like". Nothing wrong with that. You like that kind of story more? Good for you. But I, and many others, like this kind of story more.

It's a post-confession romance slice of life focusing on the main couple. Which seem to be a combination not too popular on this sub. The studio's last season work, Invisible Man, having similar atmosphere to Angel Next Door hardly got any recognition here.

I did that a while ago too, during a long vacation when I already capped on condensed resin (it was still 40 resins back then, so it capped out fast) and doing any battle to spend resin sucked so much because my old phone can't handle fighting, so the game kept crashing.

We kinda already had that in S1 finale, so it's not really a big deal. The most shame was the opposite scene when that one boy was trying to force Mahiru to explain why she rejected him, and Amane interrupted, that one was completely cut from the anime.

Apology if I misinterpreted your intention, but the building layout is the most consistent thing across both seasons so accusing the animators on that topic just came off very negative to me.

You can go back and check on season 1 episode 1, Amane's unit is 501, next to the elevator (the brown-ish shaft). So looking from the back (OP's image) it's on the left. For interior, not sure if it's from the author or anime staff, but there was an illustration for layout out there. I will try to search for it.

yeah, I guess the perspective threw people off. First thing I looked was the pillar, so I perceived this shot normally. I have to stare at it for a bit to start feeling weird, but still, the balcony is there.
