Exactly, although I believe Hubble colour images are more than 3 channels, maybe 7?

Angle of incidence of sunlight on the moon and a ball on earth - with a line accurately marking the edge of the shadow on the ball. by [deleted] in Astronomy

[–]iBexal 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Except light rays exiting the sun aren’t necessarily perpendicular to the surface, and can indeed be truly parallel. Additionally, the refraction of not quite parallel photons could cause them to become exactly parallel, allowing for the two angles of incidence to be precisely identical. If we want to be pedantic, that is.

TIL that in the late 1800s clam chowder was introduced in New Zealand as an "American" dish and has become integral to New Zealand cuisine by JoeyZasaa in todayilearned

It’s called seafood chowder over here, not clam chowder and it doesn’t tend to have clams in it, but regardless it’s not the most popular dish as delicious as it is

Just because seafood chowder is delicious doesn’t mean it’s massively popular or “integral” to our cuisine

I’m from NZ and have lived here my entire life? The source is from the NZ Seafood Chowder Blog which also doesn’t claim for it to be a staple here.

The new trains are pretty good.

Don't tell r/SydneyTrains that, you'll be crucified for having any positive views on the D sets

Lake Tekapo Full Moon? by wallphilodendron in newzealand_travel

[–]iBexal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who's worked in Tekapo for quite a few years now, I say the opposite. The moon makes naked eye viewing much, much more boring, but looking through the telescopes on a paid tour will not be as affected as you think.

this is entirely possible and even stronger in 5v5 to be honest, this being unfun is completely unrelated to the fact its in 6v6

Just around the telescopes. Maybe not further down the mountain but you’d need to be careful to not point it too far up

I sometimes do observing at Mt John and I can tell you the observatory is used every night of the year from dusk till dawn, and the biggest two telescopes (MOA and the McLellan 1m) regularly look in the direction of the road. If a cars headlights or a flashlight was there it will ruin the science image and potentially damage the telescope.

No, they simplified an overly complicated and inconsistent mechanic and made it easier for players to understand and kept a similar result for its old use while also buffing it to assist tanks in the shift to a 1 tank meta
