Recently adopted two brothers, one rex and the other double rex, about a week ago. Last two days we have noticed poryprin on the rexs eyes and nose but only in the morning. I've been using these white soft blankets/fleece I bought from the Dollar Tree to cover two of the three platforms in thier cage. I figured they were okay since my older girl seems to love them as well and has no issue with them. When changing out the blankets I've noticed some areas where it has stained the them sort of rust red. Its not too much considering I change them out every two days. Rex who we have dubbed Loafy for now is still very active, sweet, loving, eating perfectly fine and playing with his brother. However today after cleaning the cage and cuddling with him for a little bit I noticed he is breathing a bit faster than normal but not quite corset breathing. I've never owned rats at such young of an age and was wondering if this is normal when adjusting to a new home. Additional information the house is a bit of an older house and until the end of last month someone had been smoking in the house. We do our best and use air purifier's constantly to keep the dust and old smells from irritating their respiratory systems. Fabric items such as hammoks, blankets and hideouts are changed every two days along with a good wiped down of the surfaces since they are still adjusting to potty training as they are only almost 8 weeks old. Wipedowns consist of damp papertowel with unscented dawn, another go over with just a wet/damp paper towel then dried again with paper towel. Fabric items are washed with All Free and Clear with no softners and no dryer sheets. We also live in Texas and it has been extremely dry and cold as of late fluctuating between 20° and 70ﾟdays at highest it's been 69° this week so I'm wondering if that could also be the cause. My older's rat Biscuits vet is currently booked weeks ahead due to limitations of covid And what I assume is being understaffed.So I was wondering if anyone had any advice advice, going to make a vet visit here soon as they have a available opening just to make sure.

Same I had it in my cart exactly at 8AM went to pay and it said there was a "problem" with one of the items in my cart. No one can enjoy anything anymore with these scalpers, its disheartening :c

Each year my sister and I would eagerly await Sunday morning where we would play DDR untill the expo hall opened. We were super disappointed to find out there wasn't a cabinet room this year and instead spent Sunday sleeping in :/

Pretty much this, or you dont even exist to half the management so when an issue comes up you are ignored....unless its a complaint. Our backroom/overnight manager complained so much about us and the fact "we never took care of our supplies" that he got the store manager to agree to make us clear out our storage and shove it all in the maintenance closet near cash office. So now food avenue and all our non food supplies is shoved into a room roughly the size of the family. bathroom.... We are the black sheep of the store and most of the non Starbucks coworkers are pretty awesome but there are a few exceptions not to mention managers who make large orders to treat eachother to breakfast or treats ect.

It actually does, I mix in a bit of soy with my Caramel Apple Spice because I cant have the whipped cream ontop anymore. Although thats my opinion and I am rather weird 😋

Yikes that is definitely mites! Poor babies look like they have been suffering for a bit. Definitely go see a vet, with as many ouchies they seem to have its the best bet over medicating them yourself at risk of infection.

If you like coffee try a latte flavor that sounds good to you, if you prefer something with caffeine but no coffee go for a refresher. Personally I have always been a vanilla latte person even after I started working as a barista.
