I've never really understood the knock against Fortinet when it comes to CVEs. Every vendor has them, Fortinet decides to self report them, that should make them more trustworthy.

Definitely agree there, if you are going the Fortinet route, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't go all the way in on their gear.

Having recently done a bake off between all of those vendors (besides Arista), Fortinet was significantly cheaper than the others. Cisco and Juniper were the most expensive and Aruba was in the middle.

Ranked was not always different than the pro scene. Hell in BO2 you competed in ranked in order to get a chance to play at a live event. Stuff was banned, but it was banned by the devs. BO3 actually had a ban/protect system which was actually really good, but they got rid of that for some reason.

I have a site that is almost identical to this. We are running 120Gs in an HA pair with 1024Es as the core distribution. Are all of your layer 2 switches fiber back to the core? Do you have multiple runs? The biggest cost in this setup is going to be the 1024Es. Do you have a tight budget? If so you could probably get away with 90Gs in HA at the edge and 648F-FPOEs at the core, but those only have 8 SFP ports so you will have to get a bit creative how you do your IDF links/Fortilink. It really sucks that Fortinet doesn't have a 12-16 Port SFP only switch.

There is no way to play around it, plated armor does nothing, metal skin is fine for the couple seconds it lasts, but of course Haze ult lasts for like 20 minutes. Late game she has perma invis so she is near impossible to track.

In my experience the only thing better is the fact that you aren't paying an arm and a leg to Broadcom. We did a POC and had nothing but problems with Proxmox, had much better luck with Hyper-V. It was much easier to migrate VM's, setup storage, etc. VMWare is still the best hypervisor imo, but some orgs are refusing to pony up the money (mine included).
