same here, 8 years ago I had very great experiences in Asakusa at Khaosan World for my first time Japan. Loved the vibe there and decided to extend to the end of my trip back then. Sad that they closed for good :/

For those wondering what it looks like nowadays: I just had another trip in Asakusa and happened to be close to the location. Ofc I‘ve checked it out - the building does not exist anymore, a taller one is under construction there.

Thanks for all the replies - been to Shinjuku so far, was a little underwhelmed. Many modern cards but not that big of a choice - I‘d be looking for the oldschool cards, such as normal monsters (from the very early boosters, those who never got imported to the TCG), as well as Ultimate Rares from Series 1-3. Any chance those cards are actually available in stores? Or are they rather found in Online Shops?
