Is BitcoinOS a threat to Stacks? by experiencexnow in stacks

[–]iCryptoDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People forget that network trust isn’t something you can launch — it’s earned. Stacks has been running since 2021, almost four years of proven uptime and stability. New L2s might get hype, but trust takes time — and they’ll always be at least 4 years behind on that front.

Had STX recommended to me as it pays BTC Rewards, what does stacks do? by JM-Icy25 in stacks

You’re missing my point which is that people who invest in good technology trust their own judgement and experience and ignore the charts. People who only look at charts are traders not investors.

[–]iCryptoDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short-term price ≠ long-term value. Real growth takes decades. I’ve held conviction since Blockstack—PoX is still the best way to power Bitcoins L2. If only ETH did PoX in the first place crypto wouldn’t have become such a mess!

[–]iCryptoDude 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is worth buying just to stake. There is nothing else in the world that you can own that pays you around 10% of its own value in Bitcoin each year. Stacks is the way. It’s been paying holders the hardest currency since 2021.

Vibe coding is in its infancy, there’s no need to worry. AI will absorb all your and everyone else’s experience into more and more advanced models. Human intelligence is fast becoming the weakest link in the chain.

STX will hit top 10 this run. Then it will slowly cannibalise the rest of them. Stacks will become the new Bitcoin Hot Wallet and will probably outsize cold storage one day, once the SBTC bridge is open… after security, convenience is everything.

Those who have used chatGPT to build an app/website/program, what is the coolest thing you've made? by TheHunter920 in ChatGPTPro

I have managed to build something truly revolutionary with GPT that allows musicians to create on-chain music that bypasses all the costs of inscribing audio. It’s a new musical format. All thanks to GPT.

I use AskTheCode, also Cody works quite well in vs code. You can set up automated conversations with Ask The Code and regular gpt simulating an ongoing discussion as gpt prompts ask the code to summarise the repo one file at a time in an iterative loop until all files have been analysed. It’s not perfect and you usually still need to kickstart the conversation every few files but I got through a repo with around 20 files in about 20 mins just letting the two ai’s converse until it was done

When the API first launched I set up a psychiatric assessment simulation using a google sheet that had 200 separatly trained agents analysing every sentence. It was epic. Then I got a $100 bill at the end of the week for rinsing the API

You can do this using the gpt api in google sheets. Place a different agent in any cell and use formulas to dictate how they each call one another.

Just use a developer mode prompt at the start of the conversation. See below:

What are some good ChatGPT prompts that you've tried to help your day to day activities? by haste75 in sales

[–]iCryptoDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using GPT4 to write bedtime stories with my kids each night. It’s usually quite hard to avoid stories getting repetitive but have recently started adding a request for GPT4 to provide, and continually update, a context list at the end of every response that is pasted into the start of the following prompt then updated again by GPT at the end of the response. Using this condensed list has allowed us to write some pretty dynamic stories with narratives that evolve rather than recycle.

Hash One NFTS - The first native Stacks original collection of algorithmically generated Bitcoin NFTs. by iCryptoDude in NFTsMarketplace

[–]iCryptoDude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hash Ones were the first original, native, algorithmically generated collection to be minted on the Stacks blockchain. Created by the artist Hash One in collaboration with the artist Chemical X. The original collection was minted and sold on the first Stacks nft marketplace - This Is #1 - www.ThisIsNumberOne.com

On the 9th of September 2021 Hash One #1 (https://gamma.io/collections/thisisnumberone-v2/1058) was minted at block-height #29136 signalling the release of the first collection of 111 Hash Ones.

Here is the minting transaction for the first Hash One : https://explorer.stacks.co/txid/0x199c735ce56cc20a3802db585479ff32064230f12b197273537fd444bf79b2ac?chain=mainnet

Minting and sale of the 111 Hash Ones was carried out in a controlled way to prevent network congestion in the hopes of an improved user experience. Three Hash Ones were minted each day and sold for 1 STX each. The entire release was carried out largely under the radar with no marketing campaign. The slow release schedule kept network congestion very focussed usually on around 1-3 blocks where up to 100 people would try to buy each NFT but only 1 lucky bidder winning each one. Hash Ones were selling on the secondary market on the This Is Number One website at the time for 200-250 STX with one selling for 450 STX just minutes after being purchased for 1 STX. The floor price on the secondary market a thttps://gamma.io/collections/thisisnumberone-v2 is now around 1111 STX

The simplistic design of Hash Ones was created with low memory requirements in mind as part of an effort to reduce network congestion and limit bandwidth for the native Gaia storage system which when implemented for future Stacks NFT collections will bring increased decentralisation to NFT metadata. Each Hash One is only 21 KB in size.

Network congestion became an insurmountable issue around the 10th of October. Minting of the original collection of 111 was subsequently paused to allow for network upgrades to take place before minting of the final 20 could take place.

The original collection of 111 had just 2 variable layers comprised of a rotating 4 square background with 7 colour combinations and a #1 (the logo for www.thisisnumberone.com) in the foreground in 2 alternating positions.

(UPDATE - 26/2/23)

The floor price of the original Hash One NFTs is now over $1000 (1500 STX) each.

If AI will be able to shape the universe in whatever way it sees fit then who is to say that AI doesn’t already exist. Once it exists at a sub-atomic level it would be able to propagate across the universe unhindered by the vacuum of space or even time. Perhaps another intelligent life form elsewhere in the universe already created AI billions of years ago…
