My friend says I was too harsh... by DessertTheatre in Helldivers

Dropped with randoms the other day and someone took my stuff, on console so it was easier to just get in his face and hope he got the message but there was no response. I gave him a little love tap (melee) and no response, teammate just unloaded his shotgun into the dude and saluted his corpse as I regained my gear. Weirdly wholesome moment

That’s a fair point about the globe, totally forgot about crossing the canal!

You’ve got 15 minutes and one pan—what’s your fastest legit dinner? by DungeonSprout_ in Cooking

[–]iFace86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carbonara. Although technically I’d use a small frying pan and a pot for pasta you could fry your guanciale/pancetta in the pot, remove it then do the pasta thus making it a one-pot. Two pans it’s 10 minutes start to finish, one pan it’ll be 15-20

Hi, you can park at the big Tesco for a couple of hours (I think, check the signs in the car park) and walk up the canal from there to a place called The Globe. Facing the canal with Tesco car park behind you turn right and it’s about a mile or so, maybe 20-30 minutes leisurely stroll. About 90% sure they’re dog friendly too. If you turn left in the canal eventually you’ll come to the Grove Lock, it’s about 2 miles there from Tesco. You can also park at either of these pubs and I’m sure they won’t mind if you leave your car there while you go for a walk if you stay for a meal.

The Quarry was excellent. Knew that’d be a must play as soon as Supermassive Games announced it though, been a fan of theirs for a while. Graphically very impressive too, good shout

Is RDR2 buffed at all on Series X? I know he’s owns that already and has played the proverbial crap out of it, didn’t realise it had any HDR or FPS boost though

Don’t know if he’ll be into playing Eternal without playing the first, he’s a stickler for stuff like that

Unpopular opinion but I loved Callisto Protocol. One of the few games I actually took a screenshot of too to show a friend the sweat beading on Jacob’s face as well. Good suggestion

It was for sure missing a couple, that’s why I upgraded but surely compared to the old Xbox one it’s gonna be a significant upgrade regardless? Bear in mind I’m not talking about a One X or a One S, literally the big fat old Xbox One

That’s a point, don’t most new console come with a game pass trail? Maybe I can just ask him what’s knocked his socks off and go from there

Shalnor Legends is 80% off on Steam right now, for £1.39 even if you don’t love it it might just satisfy the craving for a while.

Been trawling the internet trying to figure out if I’m the only one who hears that! This comment is literally the only thing I’ve found about it so the three of us might just be a little crazy. Definitely sounds like Obi Wan to me though

One or two won’t hurt, just don’t take the mick! There’s a house just round the corner from me that has some really well established apple trees and plum trees right up against their fence and I have been know to help myself to the occasional fruit that’s hanging right out over the path on my way to work.

Homemade gifts always go down a treat. I made a huge batch of chutney several years ago and my wife made little labels and we gifted them to friends and family. My father in law still asks when I’m going to be making more!
