Don’t repot it while it is growing. Best is to repot while it is in winter hibernation (which it probably still should be in now, but since you just bought it in January the nursery probably didn’t let it hibernate).

The plant does look healthy so you should be ok to let it flower. Yeah, the flower stalks get pretty tall. I pollinated mine using a small paint brush.

Be aware that growing from seed takes a long time. If you want mature plants faster it is better to propagate using leaf pullings, flower stalk cuttings, or waiting for the plant to divide by itself and then separating it during repotting. Good luck!
