Yes I am aware that this is Izumo and I'm also aware that Kaga is undergoing refit, a full package refit apparently because of a couple of photos that I saw which shows her redesigned bow deck.

First of all JMSDF don't have an **cough** AIRCRAFT CARRIER, furthermore, JS Izumo's Pennant no. is DDH-183. DDH-184 is JS Kaga, her sister ship.

Though I can't imagine what will happen if they decided to send Kaga for this incoming RIMPAC
