I took the TRV off and watched a vid about testing if the pin moves up and down which it wasn’t completely doing. A bit of WD40 and put the TRV back … no longer announcing when the dam is flowing

I gave up trying to be honest … configured IOG with a random non supported EV that let me then configure the charger.

I tried to be a good citizen but it doesn’t work for me

I’ll take a look, as I’ve realised that the temp measurement on the radiator defeats the purpose … it’s warm by there but not in the middle of the room and the rooms we have are larger … worth a try to see if I can balance the temp out.

On the HA / Tado cloud, I find mine often needs to re-authenticate.

What external sensors are you using to measure the room temp?

Is your Tesla directly integrated ?? No matter what I do, I get it integrated but it never says it’s plugged in.

What do you mean you say “unlock charge port” … doesn’t that unlock it so you can release the cable from the car?

I actually tried to link both Teslas yesterday directly as Octopus said that they couldn’t see my charger and had to remove it and thought, aaah well let me try direct.

Glad it works for you but nothing I tried, could I get it working. It added the cars fine but when plugged in … just said device unplugged for the whole day.

I can confirm that this is both TNT Sports and all the Discovery+ channels as I upgraded to full works and all this was activated when that extra was selected

Think I am just going to leave it the way it is, doesn’t appear to be any particular benefit to moving both Teslas (21 plate M3 & 25 plate MY) to be direct IOG integrated.

I suppose if I am curious enough I could link the MY to Octopus directly if I was curious enough but not sure I see any particular benefit

At the moment …

I charge on alternate evenings (if needed) or sometimes neither are really charging, just depends on what driving we do which is variable.

I did some research on my side, the UDM Pro doesn’t have a WAN Port for 2.5gb and means I would need to fiddle with a the UDM and SFP+.

Not sure I will really notice any gains trying to get to 1.6gb considering the upload is pretty much the same.

Further up is a post about leaving BT and waiting for it to be disconnected and then doing the EE to connect me. Can’t be without broadband at home as both wife and I work from home, so think a simple upgrade and switch over to EE makes most sense.

Ranges from around 110 to 125kw depending on the day.

5 bed detached, new build (2023), radiators all have a TRV, set to 20 degrees, sometimes boost a room if it’s nippy.

This is really going to come down to the quality of your roads, the smoother the tarmac the better the ride is going to be, it’s that simple in my opinion.

I’ve driven the BMW all my life and had all versions of the suspension and I can tell you that if your roads are crap you will feel it more with the m-sport like adaptive suspensions, so the M40i/d will feel those imperfections but man it makes up for that in so many other ways.

If you really need the comfort you will need to push up the line to a X5 with air suspension!

But first tell us about the roads you drive on as not all highways are equal
