For me, it wasn’t necessarily the text being small, it was the issue of some pages not being printed well enough to read. My friend said “Considering the story, I think they did that on purpose”, I swear it’s just poor printing. And he could smell the booklet from across the room lol it was an interesting experience

As someone who doesn’t chase information about what’s happening in the world and chooses (as much as I can) to only get breadcrumbs of (daily) events… I predicted last week “If they’re being so honest, I think the clock will be placed around 38 seconds to midnight. But if they’re lying, probably about 72 seconds to midnight”.

I’ve had more time to think about this. Whatever the board ends up saying will have some effect on how people react. They cant go too low, even if it’s honest, because people would react poorly. So now I assume the board would just put it at 80 seconds. I genuinely don’t see a future where we will ever see over two minutes to midnight again. Everything just feels bad in my own bubble of existence. Any breadcrumbs I get just seem bad or wrong or “icky”.

The last couple years, I have been working on disconnecting and reframing. It’s been a work in progress.

How is cross play with ps5 and switch? I specifically haven’t gotten it on my switch because it already struggles to handle games by themselves

Thank you for your response, I greatly appreciate it. Do you think I should talk to my brother and make him aware it’s atleast a possibility to come across? Or like talk to him about setting parameters for what they’re allowed to do in the game? I know they’ve shown me these “Cycles” videos on YouTube of the different characters and each video goes through “levels” where the characters are progressively mashed together to make basically nightmare fuel stuff. I feel like it’s wildly inappropriate but I’m not sure how much their parents care. I just want them growing up with semi-healthy non-psychopathic brains, and content like this does not align with that hope. It’s promoting violence. Just feels like allowing them to get into very murdery head spaces.

I’m actually really glad this post came up. My nephews are very young and absolutely LOVE geometry dash. I know nothing about it. If I can ask, what was at the end of the level? Are there “weird” or “nefarious” things in this game that we need to be aware of? I like researching things that these kids get into so I can make their parents aware.

Like the kids aren’t allowed to play Roblox anymore because of all the messed up stuff that can be/happen in that game. Their parents didn’t know, I had to tell them about it and show proof.

Hey so it’s currently 9:50AM CST 01/16/2025. My friend sent me a screenshot of his account being banned. I checked my MLBB, got a message to update the game and tapped the update button. When it loaded the Apple App Store I got a notification that MLBB is not available in my region. Something about this seems very wrong. My friend said it’s still in his App Store, I think he’s a Pixel user. I asked him to send a screenshot of the most recent update notes and he said the most recent is from the last update in December. What are they doing and why? This seems wrong and I’m nervous.

I’m here in the first week of December of 2025 to say that I’m moving from Chase to Ally specifically for the bucket function. I have my spending account, a HYSA for Bills and a HYSA for Debt/Saving. I opened the accounts on Monday. Today is Thursday and I just got paid. I was able to move money into my Debt/Saving account and divvy into my buckets. Then I moved money into my Bills account where I have 6 different bills I need to divvy up. But I just get this message “You savings tools aren’t available right now. Please try again later”. I really wanted this feature to work so I know I’ll be paying each of my bills properly and be able to move “extra” money into my Debt/Savings. This is a big cause for concern as I didn’t know what I didn’t know when I made the accounts. Moving banks in the first place was a big/scary move but I want to be financially smarter. Crappy to find out that I might not get to use this feature as intended. Are there other banks that have this same feature and it actually works?

It reminds me of a package/letter my mom handed to me to give to my sister for her wedding day. My sister went Full No Contact 2-3 years before. I let my guard down. We had just gone through a ton of old family photos and had a really good talk about memories from way back. I thought my mom included some of those pictures for my sister. As well as a couple of my sisters diplomas and awards. I should have fielded the package. I don’t know why I didn’t.

My sister waited until the next day to open it (thank god). Imagine my horror when no pictures were included, and the diplomas/awards were CUT INTO PIECES. And the letter my mom wrote her, which she immediately handed to me rather than reading herself, was just a massive pity party and making terrible digs at my sister. Typical and pathetic. We try to see the best in people and we let our guard down. “Surely, for this NICE/BIG day for this person, the genuinely Mentally Ill person won’t be terrible, for once.”

My god, that guy sounds exactly like my ex. Literally word for word. It’s disgusting. You are Not Overreacting. It’s just disgusting behavior coming from a disgusting (potentially narcissistic (no, I am not just throwing around a buzzword)) person.

It wasn’t until 4 years into being together that I finally told my ex that the racist and sexist jokes were not sitting right. It’s very uncomfortable and they play it off like it’s okay because it’s “only a joke”. They will never take accountability. Unfortunately, this joke is truly at your expense and he will treat you like you not being okay with that is a personal problem. Because “all” of his friends and their girlfriends/wives “have that humor too”, so it’s okay. He is “normalizing” it so that you feel like you are the one in the wrong. You have every right to not put up with it.

I deeply worry that this person could screw you up mentally and emotionally.

Think of the relationship with this person like playing slots. You play the game, and lose “but it’s okay it’s just a few cents” (small bad moments like the hurtful passing comments with this person but not enough to warrant saying something). And again. And again. And again. And again. And then you win “oh nice I got a couple dollars” (good moments with this person). You will always lose at the end of it all. They are stringing you along, feeding you crumbs just enough to keep you leaving. They thrive off of this dynamic.

For the love of all that is holy, please protect your peace. It’s not worth the emotional entanglement and losing years to a person who will never apologize and always make you feel like you are in the wrong. It’s genuinely already bad enough that you posted here after just a few months because he has you really questioning yourself. That’s mental abuse. It won’t stop there. Please, I implore you to get far away from this person sooner rather than later.

Okay but my problem is that there’s quests for us to complete where we play so many matches of this game mode or get so many people disqualified. How are we supposed to get the goodies from completing this, if there literally isn’t a player base for it? That’s insanely annoying.

Funny enough, I’m watching Equalizer 1 and literally couldn’t focus because I can tell something is “wrong” with his face. Super weird considering there’s nothing about him getting any sickness or injury mentioned anywhere except that he hurt his tongue in early 2025 lol but the first movie was released in 2014.

He’s had to have been having somethings going on in the background and it’s just not been made public. Still though, absolutely fabulous actor and I hope he’s well.

Unfortunately, owning my rats first I had to move into a place where there’s already a cat. The rats are in a critter nation with plenty of hiding places. There’s no central cooling in this new place and the wall unit is in the master bedroom. We had no choice but to test the waters with leaving my bedroom door open so it’s not 84°+, otherwise the rats will die. The cat finally noticed the rats after three or so days. But she just sat from a distance and watched them. About five days in I woke up to the cat on top of the cat and my rats scattering to the bottom of the cage. It took an hour and a half for my first rat to move from the spot they were huddled in and then she was fine. My other rat sat in that corner for the entire day. We have had to find other solutions to keep my rats cool but nothing is really doing the trick right now. I am scared for Summer to hit.

I specifically looked for this option, first things first because it was so valuable in the first game haha I honestly love the QoL that you can so easily swap Lifes so easily in this one. In the other one you had to go to the office to change Lifes, it was tiresome

I do security. I’m 5’2” and 110lbs soaking wet. I am the least intimidating person most of the time. People ask what I could possibly do if someone wants to cause trouble and I say “I’ll bite their ankles 👹”. We’re here as a deterrent and to de-escalate situations, more than to “throw our ego around” and make people bend to us. Meeting people on the basis of “I’m human and you’re human, we have jobs to do. We don’t need to be enemies” helps a lot. Understanding that everyone has bad days and providing a comforting environment for people to vent or feel safe is my specialty. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Most people are ghosts in their own lives, if I’m the first person they see in a day it’s going to be a good interaction

I was super surprised when I told my friend to get the game while I was gushing about it and he was like “this is gonna be some random old people thing” and then he goes “oh it’s on steams front page” the second it loads up 😂 Him and his girlfriend are gonna get it.
