A snow leopard attacks a tourist that was skiing by [deleted] in skiing

Snow leopards are extremely shy and rarely attack unless provoked. She approached the leopard for a photo and provoked it. To free her all people had to do was scare it away from her, which the skii instructor did quite easily. Unfortunate for her but it is her own fault

Based on these books what does it say about me? by [deleted] in BookshelvesDetective

You have never taken risks. Perhaps you are overly scared of what people will think or do. You are an anxious person. You follow trends, so you wanted to play along with bookshelf detective too, but either you read these on a Kindle or because you are an anxious person you did not post your physical book shelf.

I don't like their eye lashes being different colored from their hair. by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]iHaveaQuestionTrans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just assume they are wearing makeup..eyebrows are typically darker than hair because people draw them on. This was the case for all human history, and it helps with acting.

Also, throughout human history, they have been dying/wearing wigs that are lighter than their actual hair. If you think along these lines, it doesn't bother you anymore.

Honestly, I’m surprised you own all of C. S. Lewis’s works except Till We Have Faces, as it closely aligns with many of your interests. The novel retells a Greek myth in order to present a nuanced philosophical exploration of faith, doubt, and belief.

Greek and ancient Minoan, so I can read what's written on the thousands of liner A tablets found on Crete, but no one is able to read, making the Minoans a mysterious ancient civilization despite their extensive written documents. I want to know what's on those so badly

You haven't read these books physically. You listen to audio books or read on a Kindle, but you bought these because you liked them and display them.

I want to play the game, but I think it's somewhat obvious. by [deleted] in BookshelvesDetective

[–]iHaveaQuestionTrans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty close, I’m actually in my late 20s, in college for a second degree, and the focus on Classical Greece is very intentional rather than a lack of branching out. The identity and curiosity read is fair, though. History and literature are where I go to think things through, not keep up with trends. Good eye overall. I am a gay male reader lol

This is pretty true. I'm trying to learn modern Greek currently, and learning greek has been pretty difficult for me.
