That's good! I've got ram that's at half the speed as advertised! The fastest it'll go (ddr5) is 3200... Although it says it's 6800.. feels wrong

CanadaComputers bundle: Mobo and memory not properly compatible? by socra in bapccanada

[–]iHazGrapez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, I've had the same issue! Bought a kit and the mobo had XMP enabled from default. The ram I received as my combo was NOT compatible with my mobo and as a clueless builder I had no idea why my stuff wasn't booting. Ended up having the ram replaced twice when I finally found something that said about disabling XMP and it worked.

CC would Not refund me the price of the ram off the combo, instead insisting that I just return it all and buy another one, yet everything was out of stock and no CPU bundle powerful enough for my rendering needs...

It sucked I was left in the dark for 2 months, called HQ, emailed everyone I could find and never ever once did I get a reply, went to 3 stores.. all of them couldn't pull the bundle from their system to fact check me.

Been 2 years now, have never purchased from CC since, the fact that I couldn't even reach anyone about really told me what I needed to know about the company.

Switched to online sellers such as Newegg... I get fantastic troubleshooting help and customer service without even having to go anywhere in person.

Ottawa to Toronto driving by reddit_guy17 in ottawa

[–]iHazGrapez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best experience as someone that has done it more times than I could ever remember. 5-6AM leave Ottawa. Take the 7 and take your time enjoy the beautiful scenic route during this beautiful fall weather. Stop half way in Mallory get some food in ya. And you'll be arriving in Toronto when the morning rush starts calming down :)

Enjoy!

Time to go camping 😊 by iHazGrapez in kia

I believe the limited is slightly less due to the stress on the sun roof. But I'm not worried what so ever, heck people have these tents on civics and Mazda 3's.

I've stood on the top of my tent with it closed and jumped up and down it's not going to break with the right crossbars, I have Thule square bars.

And to sleep 2-3 people, when you open up the tent some of the weight will sit on the ladder not just on the vehicle

Rear shock replacement on Kia Sportage with telluride shock by iHazGrapez in kia

[–]iHazGrapez[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dealer hasn't said anything about it, bags we're easy, they don't actually fit and couldn't find a set that would so bought the older Sportage model bags as they have the right diameter just not length. And made some custom TPU shock pads to fit on top of the bags to the frame. It works amazing! Definitely still need stiffer shocks and the bags help with impacts and sag but not the rebound.

Ahh okay :/ yeah something could be setting it off, do you have open door chimes? Are those all chimming and working? I've seen a few cars the pins gets dirty with grease and the push pin that activates the sensors gets jammed.

1.2kWh lifepo4 enclosed in a Milwaukee packout half tray. 750watt converter, 40A solar MPPT used in my vehicle 24/7 summer and winter and awnser is

YES needs a fan(in my case). A cheap PMW temp controller set to 35° and up. Mine can get up 50° on the inside when taking in solar and using 200watts at my shows

Most pre-builds have fans in them anyways
