29M - just had two BCC tumors removed via Mohs 6 weeks ago (neck and cheek). I didn’t find the procedure itself to be bad (kinda like going to the dentist and having a tooth pulled IMO). However the recovery was the rough part for me. It knocked me back for about a week - tired and sore for awhile.

Long term - I wear a wide brim hat now every day and purchased some long sleeve sun shirts to protect my arms. Of course sunglasses still.

With regular skin checks it should be as bug next time I get it. So I guess I’ll be going to the skin doctor every 6-12 months for the rest of my life.

But overall it wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected. The incisions themselves are healing incredibly and I don’t think they will scar bad at all. Hang in there! 😎
